Starvation was rampant and the country imported much of its food. Swaminathan, an agricultural geneticist, developed new strains of high-yield wheat for his country and the programs that led to an India that exports food. Today, India grows some 70 million tons of wheat and has become the world's second-largest wheat producer. He says that today India has reached a plateau in production and productivity because a problem of under investment in rural infrastructure. His M.S. At the end of the day, I don't follow sabbath observance, but I do respect the culture it comes from... However, would letting them play not be a really good way of celebrating their talents (or god-given gifts, as no doubt sporting prowess is considered to be by such religious commmunities)? ps. football in this case is soccer ;-)

POPSThe New Face of Racism: Hilary Clinton Hillary Clinton may well be the youngest living Dixiecrat. Basically, her campaign strategy has come down to this: 1. There are lots of Americans who would vote against a person based on the color of his skin. (I bet you can't guess which color they "aren't quite ready for"!) 2. These people are so important to the Democratic Party that we should on no account offend their delicate sensibilities by fielding an, ehm, colored candidate. 3. By virtue of her being white, she has the key character trait that appeals to the DNC base, which is the ability to pander to the much vaunted "Racist Redneck" demographic. Are her values in line with the Democratic Party? They certainly don't represent me! In fact, I would prefer it if racists didn't vote for the candidate I support. After all, nobody is looking for the David Duke endorsement!

Dogs have personalities if you watch them. We have Izzy. When he gets a chewy bone, he likes to throw it in the air like a toy, smiling. Sometimes he loses it, or gets ripped off. He has more fun playing with it than eating it. Izzy come up with that one. Pokemon is serious most of the time, and barks at anyone she hasn't seen in a week when they walk in the door. She's been doing it since she was born. She's 9 now. We have a picture of her in the litter a few weeks old, and you can tell it is her by the look on her face. But she does the 'wiggle' Like rolling on the grass with a smile on her face, (It's usually on someones bed, she feels important then. on 'Prime real estate'). Duke is always barking. If you know him you know why. He wants you to go outside to play with the ball.He asks everybody. Most of the dogs would play with the ball-if Duke gave them the chance. Duke has 4 balls. If you kick all of them around he can't be happier. Lani bows when she knows it's time for a walk
