POPSWTF! That crazy Party of “NO” will do anything to energize their base... Miss Dubya? Anyone who misses that clown is probably angry that we aren't in worse shape. He and Cheney did their best to take us down... Since they didn't quite complete the whole job... They are now trying to take down Barack Obama's administration, ALONG WITH A CRIPPLED AMERICA. WTF!

POPS"DARPA Wants to Override Evolution to Make Immortal Synthetic Organisms" more (at source): Unsurprisingly, molecular biologists have weighed in with huge caveats and raised fingers of objection. First, they say that DARPA has the wrong idea about hoping to overcome evolution's supposed randomness, and that evolution really represents a super-efficient design algorithm. Then there's the problem of guaranteeing immortal life for any biological creature in the first place -- just look here and here at some really smart people who have yet to find that fountain of youth.

POPSUS citizens may be murdered by their government WTF ? What about innocent until proven guilty ? I seem to remember western law has been based on protection from arbitrary punishment since The Magna Carta or there abouts. It`s particularly alarming as a top US military chap in Afghanistan said that most of their intelligence was `fantasy`. And people complain about Iran and Venezuela ?

POPSObama seeks $200M, just for security costs, to help cities host 9/11 trials It's like a nationwide tour for terrorists - coming to a city near you! Yay!!!! Democrats think that lap dancers at the strip club should be making the same .28 cents on the dollar as the doctor that saved you from dying of cancer; in the meantime, have no problem at all inventing new ways of spending other people's money. Stupid. Freaking ridiculous. It's horrific enough they've killed thousands of Americans already, but now we have to host them in our own backyards and pay millions and millions more to protect ourselves from them killing the rest of us. Dump the sick bastards into the ocean and let Aquaman deal with them.

POPSLady Gaga to Scoop the Grammys!?
WTF!? I thought when I first saw Lady Gaga on the telly. 'She's certainly a cheeky lass....or, was it cheeky ass?" No -- It was the nonsense heavy beat chant: Rah-rah-ah-ah-ah Roma, Roma-ma GaGa, ooh la la....sort of like some of the post on Clipmarks by Circus Boy....but fun. In our world of media blitzkrieg she has ripped apart the curtain and stormed onstage. Today, the Wall Street Journal had an article about her. I found myself agreeing with every word. One Quick Hit Summary: make 2-cents a freedown and sell 20 million things, rather than $2.00 a song, selling one million...and, of course, sell everything else under the sun associated with you. And change outfits a lot. Make three or four versions of the same thing. Do it all -- and most of all: Be Outrageous. Apparently she was once more normal (video link in clip). Now she's right up there with Wacko Jacko's Thriller & Mad Madonna. A lot of high energy & talent this generation (like it or not). It goes great

POPSThe Future of WTF Rep. Michael Rodrigues, D-Westport, who proposed the bill to eliminate WTF, didn't respond to the Dig's request for comment. But his bill, which was filed early last year, aimed to end the WTF by June 30th, 2009, in an effort to move funds allocated to the WTF for that year to the Unemployment Insurance Fund, which was being gobbled into nothing as more and more workers were laid off. Some WTF grant money has been diverted into the state's General Fund for other uses. Rep. Bradley Jones, R-North Reading, a co-sponsor on Rodrigues' bill, says he was urged by the Associated Industries of Massachusetts to cut WTF. The 2009 annual performance report of the WTF shows that 96 percent of participating employers said they would recommend the program to others and 83 percent reported an increase in productivity after WTF training.

POPSDanny Glover's Pact With Gaia Thankfully, Glover reminded us that the fringe right does not have a monopoly on idiots. Anyone blaming Haiti's earthquake on a pet cause that isn't rooted in geology is a windbag with no idea what they're talking about. If someone produces valid evidence that climate change (or for that matter that the morality of a group of people living on a land mass) has an effect on plate tectonics then we'll talk. Until then let's stick to blaming earthquakes on seismic activity in the earth's crust. I don't even know if this has anything to do with liberalism. Do you think Pat Robertson represents all conservatives? Both of them have become overwhelmed by their own irrelevance. Glover pales in comparison to Media Matters. While people struggle to come to terms with horrifying human suffering, what does this pathetic “media watchdog group” do? They release a “study” focusing on the amount of coverage Fox News devoted to the quake. WTF is that?
