POPSThe 10 Most Worthless College Majors Philosophy Why It Won’t Help You Get a Job: This isn’t ancient Greece: No one is going to pay you money, or allow you to sodomize their attractive son, in exchange for your knowledge of existence. Never has there been an employer who’s said “Man, we’re having all kinds of problems, I wish we had someone on our team who could reference and draw conclusions from the story of Siddhartha that would pull up our fourth quarter numbers.” I took many philosophy classes and it involved reading and smoking a shit pile of weed. You don’t need to pay 20,000 dollars a year to do that. All you need is twenty dollars and a library card. What Job You’ll End Up With: Thanks to your extensive knowledge of philosophy, you’re now self-aware enough to know that most jobs out there will make you totally miserable. So most likely you’ll wait tables part time and hope someone starts paying you for the bi-monthly entries on your blog.

POPSFunds to invest up to $8bn in National City bank All these billions being invested in propping up unsafe banks might have been put to more constructive and less risky use. Add the cost of wars. That is the money which is being taken away from the future ... from our children and their children. Best to start setting up non-money based ways of trading and bartering now, as money becomes increasingly scarce and worthless at the same time.

POPSBorn 20 Years Too Late Millionaire property developer Nicholas van Hoogstraten nas been arrested in Zimbabwe. Bundles of money allegedly found at his house were carried out by police. They also recovered pornography from Mr van Hoogstraten's home. "Van Hoogstraten is being charged under the Exchange Control Regulations for charging a service and dealing foreign currency. He is also facing charges under the Censorship Act." In 2002 a British court convicted Mr van Hoogstraten of manslaughter and sentenced him to 10 years in jail after a business associate was shot and killed. Mr van Hoogstraten appealed against the conviction and was cleared in 2003, although in 2005 a civil court awarded the murdered man's family £6m in damages.

POPSWar Costs $15 Billion per Month, Says GOP Senator And how is this being paid for? It's not. The national debt is over $9 trillion, and the republicans and democrats never talk of how this will be paid for. Yet republicans complain about Big Government while this administration sets records for spending, and the "leading candidates" plan to "stay the course" while paying lip service to "excessive spending". Excessive spending means the Fed prints more money, the dollar is devalued, and leads directly to inflationary prices based upon increasingly worthless dollars (while your dollar revenues from employment remain the same).

POPSU.S. Dollar worth only 94-cents in Canada; was $1.50 Five Years Ago For the first time since 1957--50 years ago--the dollar will not even buy a Canadian dollar, now only worth 94 cents! It was just in 2002 that one U.S. dollar would be worth $1.50 Canadian dollars! In five years the dollar has become worthless--due to Fed monetary policy and the neocons war mongering, supported by too many stupid Americans, and driving up the cost of gasoline! WAKE UP...ONLY RON PAUL IS SPEAKING ABOUT THESE ISSUES THAT NO OTHER CANDIDATE IS ADDRESSING.

POPSGoogle Skimps on it's own advertising.
I also heard Krispy Kreme donuts don't spend on Advertising. Why spend money, when you get known through word of mouth. It's clear how it works, they sell advertising, and allow those who advertise to create programs that include a google search engine with their own advertising or toolbar downloads. When it all comes down to it. a great product will advertise it's self. Two of the biggest functions of Advertising, seem to be to create salaries for public relations, and marketing executives, and for use as a tax deduction. There comes a point when there is enough liquidity, to pay the tax man continue development, and still give the share holders a significant profit. Why is is an archetype? It illustrates the way some advertising strategies have been almost worthless. Google is having their cart drawn by the horses from whom they already profit. They've learned how to create two links with the one click. I wonder if a Krispy Kreme donut would make it through customs?

POPSCarbon Offsets - Fraud and Deceit This whole "carbon offset" industry setup for fraud. The main aim is to have rich people pay money to feel good about themselves. The fact that nothing or extremely little actually is done to reduce carbon in the atmosphere doesn't matter.
