POPSUN Says New Global Currency Is Needed The 45-year-old UN group, run by former World Trade Organization chief Supachai Panitchpakdi, “promotes integration of developing countries in the world economy,” according to its Web site. Emerging-market nations should consider restricting capital mobility until a new system is in place, the group said. The world body began issuing warnings in 2006 about financial imbalances leading to a global recession.

POPSMystery face on a 750 year old tile more: It's the best one I have ever found. When I saw the face, my first thought was: 'Who is this mystery figure?'" Plans are already in place to preserve and display the tile locally alongside a second tile found last year in the Shorne Woods Visitor Centre in the country park. "The excavations at the manor are part of a wider programme of archaeology in the country park, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, which has provided a unique opportunity for many local schools and the community to experience archaeology first hand," added KCC Community Archaeologist, Andrew Mayfield.

POPSFox: New World Order Confirmed - still think truthers are crazy? " Its too bad Mr. Morris didnt give us the rest of the story. The IMF is a loan sharking operation created by the bankers under the Bretton Woods scheme and its primary purpose to date has been to get third world nations into hock so they can be more effectively looted. It is now poised, as Morris eludes, to embark on a far more ambitious bankster scam — to initiate something called global quantitative easing by printing billions of dollars worth of a global super-currency, deceptively billed as a way to address the economic crisis manufactured by the global elite. Alistair Darling and senior figures in the US Treasury have been encouraging the Fund to issue hundreds of billions of dollars worth of so-called Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) in the coming months as part of its campaign to prevent the recession from turning into a global depression, the Telegraph reported on March 16."

POPSCrossing Paths Daily: Obama & Ayers Shared Office
Do you think maybe Obama and Bill Ayers ran into each other once in a while? This Chicago Annenberg Challenge website from 2002 shows the total amount of funds given to Bill Ayers’ Small Schools Workshop from 1995 to 2001. The amount is not the $175K I had reported earlier. According to this page, the total given under Barack Obama’s direct supervision was $1,056,162. Adding that amount to the money given by the Joyce Foundation and Woods Fund during Obama’s tenure brings the grand total to $1,968,718. Just shy of two million dollars! That’s a lot of scratch, to put it bluntly. And don’t forget, this doesn’t count the 3/4 million that went to John Ayers during the same time period. Now here’s the second and bigger break, again big hat tip to Morgen for his work on this… Bill Ayers and Barack Obama shared an office. Ayers’ Small Schools Workshop, the one Obama directed all that money to is located at 115 S. Sangamon Street, Chicago, Illinois 60607 enlarged view @ flickr

POPSConning the Community Manipulating Us ALL. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The Obama campaign is now distancing itself from Acorn, claiming Mr. Obama never organized with it and has nothing to do with illegal voter registration. Yet it's disingenuous to channel cash into an operation with a history of fraud and then claim you're shocked to discover reports of fraud. As with Rev. Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers, Mr. Obama was happy to associate with Acorn when it suited his purposes. But now that he's on the brink of the Presidency, he wants to disavow his ties. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ? ? ? ? When did 51% of us become so blind?

POPSMore Acorn Widespread Voting Fraud - The Hand of Obama During der Furher's tenure on the board of Chicago's Woods Fund, that body funneled more than $200,000 to Acorn. More recently, the Obama campaign paid $832,000 to an Acorn affiliate. The campaign initially told the Federal Election Commission this money was for "staging, sound, lighting." It later admitted the cash was to get out the vote. Der Furher was happy to associate with Acorn when it suited his purposes. But now that he's on the brink of the Presidency, he wants to disavow his ties. The Justice Department needs to treat these fraud reports as something larger than a few local violators. The question is whether Acorn is systematically subverting U.S. election law -- on the taxpayer's dime. These Acorn thugs are reminiscent of nazi brown shirts as Hitler campaigned for office.

POPSPlanting Seeds of Disaster
In one of the first book-length scholarly studies of ACORN, Organizing Urban America, Rutgers University political scientist Heidi Swarts describes this group, so dear to Barack Obama, as “oppositional outlaws.” ACORN’s Inside Strategy Yet ACORN’s entirely deserved reputation for militance is balanced by its less-well-known “inside strategy.” The untold story of ACORN’s central role in the financial meltdown is about the one-two punch to the banking system administered by this outside/inside strategy. Critics of the notion that CRA had a major impact on the subprime crisis ask how a law passed in 1977 could have caused a crisis in 2008? The answer has a lot to do with ACORN — and the critical years of 1990-1995. Banks merger or expansion plans were rarely held up under CRA until the late 1980s, when ACORN perfected its technique of filing CRA complaints in tandem with the sort of intimidation tactics perfected by that original “community organizer” ,Saul Alinsky.

POPSObama Brushes Off Terrorist Ties, But CNN Digs Deeper... Whoa! If CNN is now searching...and finding...things are coming out that have been deeply buried. Obama is so new to the political scene that most of his ties are recent and knowable. The man's character, his core values, and his concept of our United States are very, very important. Where an Obama Presidency and Administration would lead us could effect our very foundation and security.

POPSFollow The Money $625,000. Other People's Money. Senator Obama and his wife, Michelle, purchased a $1.65 million Georgian revival mansion in Chicago, where they now reside. While wealthy Syrian-born Chicago slumlord Tony Rezko was already known to be under federal investigation, the senator approached Mr. Rezko about purchasing the two adjoining properties, then toured the home with Mr. Rezko (now a convicted felon on those charges). Soon after Senator Obama bought the mansion for $300,000 less than the asking price. On the same day, Mr. Rezko's wife purchased the adjoining vacant lot for the full asking price of $625,000. $75,000. Other People's Money. Senator Obama served as a paid director to a "progressive" Chicago-area non-profit organization, the Woods Fund, from 1999 until almost 2003. William C. POPSMcCain Supporter Takes Aim At Old Liberal Media Ayers, known for his work in the 1960s and ’70s with the violent radical left Weatherman Underground Organization, is now a university professor. Obama and Ayers were members of Woods Fund of Chicago and Ayers contributed $200 to Obama’s state legislative campaign. Wright, Obama’s former pastor, is openly critical of America and once said the United States brought on the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 with its own “terrorism.” “The coverage hasn’t been fair,” Cummings said.

POPSChickens Roosting to Ayers. And I’m not suggesting that Obama should have denounced Ayers. I am just noting the grossly disproportionate responses of the Obama campaign to their differing offenses and the Obama campaign’s direct attack on Kurtz’s character, not just what he's done or said – including very explicitly using arguments of guilt by association against Kurtz (which of course are being used against Obama, despite the protestations to the contrary of his critics).

POPSConservative Nonprofit Group to Spend $2.8 Million on Anti-Obama Ad Obama also was the first chairman of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a school reform group of which Ayers was a founder. Ayers also held a meet-the-candidate event at his home for Obama when Obama first ran for office in the mid-1990s. "Barack Obama is friends with Ayers, defending him as, quote, 'Respectable' and 'Mainstream,'" the ad states. "Obama's political career was launched in Ayers' home. And the two served together on a left-wing board. Why would Barack Obama be friends with someone who bombed the Capitol and is proud of it? Do you know enough to elect Barack Obama?" Obama's campaign accused McCain of having a hand in the ad, saying he "dispatched his paid consultant to launch this despicable ad from a so-called 'independent' committee." Federal Election Commission records show the last payment from McCain's campaign to Failor's consulting firm, Targeted Consulting, was July 2, 2007.

POPSObama, Ayers, Woods Fund, AAAN There's too much here - combined together is William Ayers, a domestic terrorist who didn't believe he didn't go far enough, and Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi a founder of AAAN, who also held a fundraiser for Obama. Khalidi is a harsh critic of Israel, has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror and reportedly has worked on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was involved in anti-Western terrorism and was labeled by the State Department as a terror group. Where does Obama's association with terrorism end?
