POPS"We shall never Surrender" but pls "Let the sunshine In" We shall defend our island whatever the cost may be; we shall fight on beaches, landing grounds, in fields, in streets and on the hills. We shall never surrender Sir Winston Churchill eye for an eye and the whole world would end up blind. Mohandas Mahatma Gandhi

POPSRabbi Spotlights ADL: "Jewish Traitors", Communists, Hate Crimes, Pro-Gay Agenda The Rabbi profiles the ADL for a change (what goes around comes around), as a "threat to America", and demonstrates their arbitrary and powerful influence, especially now during the Obama administration, and their larger World agenda as social revolutionaries and anti-religionists. He spares nothing: It is difficult to write about Jewish traitors, but I have the obligation to do so. My life as an American and a Jew is rooted in one miracle: individual liberty and freedom of speech and conscience. We are living in dangerous times, times when men of good will are afraid to speak out. There are some things you cannot say in America today. I will say them anyway. It is a collection of communists, anarchists, ... about a socialist paradise The Rabbi's views are identical to what Winston Churchill wrote about the "atheistical Jews" as revolutionaries, and Communism here.

POPSArmy chiefs accuse extremists of exploiting Britain's servicemen The values of these extremists - many of whom are essentially racist - are fundamentally at odds with the values of the modern British military, such as tolerance and fairness.' The new row came as an apparent list of the party's members and their personal details were posted on the internet, in the third leak of its membership in recent years. The names include former senior members of the military, doctors and professors, according to the spreadsheet posted on the the WikiLeaks website. Everything from their street address, post code, telephone number and mobile phone number is included. It comes amid huge anger over BNP leader Nick Griffin's appearance on Question Time on Thursday with the corporation refusing to pull him from the line-up. The BNP has regularly used pictures of soldiers as part of its campaign, alongside quintessentially British images such as Winston Churchill's V for victory sign.

POPSLibs Finally See Bush Admin Prosecuted for "Torture" [FICTIONAL] Oh hell, more liberal porn. Libs should also consider prosecuting America's 43rd president for directly liberating more people (over 60 million) from tyranny than any leader since Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt. Or how about we prosecute him for saving millions of lives in Africa and for asking the Congress to commit $15 billion over five years ... to turn the tide against AIDS in the most afflicted nations of Africa and the Caribbean? Sound good to you libs? Dream on fools.

POPSJohn Maynard Keynes: Don't call it a comeback And yet today, you can't click your way three links through the econoblogosphere without stumbling into a flame war between reenergized triumphalist Keynesian supporters of government intervention in the economy and bewildered, angry market fundamentalists who have just watched their painstakingly constructed world crumble around them. Just a few years ago the heat of the debate would have been unthinkable -- Keynes seemed to have about as much relevance to current economic policymaking as Winston Churchill does for the Middle East peace process.

POPSJohn Lichfield: French are starting to worry about healthcare Full Article: Quite apart from the outdated or mendacious statistics hurled around, the comparison with the British approach was deliberately misleading. Mr Obama has never suggested the cumbersome NHS model – state-run, funded from taxation and free at the point of access – should be imported to America.

POPSBy modern conservative standards, Winston Churchill was a Bolshevik
More: As a lifelong conservative with a strong dedication to enterprise and merit (and a host of less admirable right-wing prejudices), Churchill would have bristled at anyone who dared to describe him as a socialist. Why then did he promote and protect the NHS? Partly out of political expediency, no doubt, but also because he felt an ethical obligation that seems not to trouble the contemporary conservatives who profess to admire him.… Whatever the marvels and defects of the NHS may be – and most experts agree that it does a superb job despite inadequate funding -- its importance for the debate over American health care reform may be moral rather than practical. Imagine what kind of country we would inhabit if those who claim to represent conservatism in America possessed even a small measure of the human compassion and political decency of Churchill at his best. It is a standard that they do not even attempt to achieve these days.

POPSLife Wisdom Quotes Dream more of becoming than of obtaining. "Knowing others is wisdom; Knowing the self is enlightenment." - Tao Te Ching A smile increases your face value. Compassion grows out of the things we are, and lives in our hearts.” – Barbara Garrison

POPS Nearly all my professors are Democrats. Isn't that a problem? "Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought"......John F. Kennedy "I would rather die on the hill of Integrity, than live in the valley of Compromise".....anonymous "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery".......Winston Churchill

POPSIt's the Economy Stupid Our national debt is $12,000,000,000,000 (as in trillion). · Social Security’s unfunded liability if $11,000,000,000,000 (as in trillion). · Medicare’s unfunded liability is $48,000,000,000,000 (as in trillion). All of which adds up to $71,000,000,000,000 (as in trillion!). In short, the Obama regime has in six short months made the United States the most indebted country in the history of world civilization! This is “change,” economist Dick McDonald writes, that “only an imbecile could love.”

"And where would the ordinary simple folk - the common people, as they like to call them in America - where would they be, once this mighty organism had got them in its grip?" Winston Churchill, The First Conservative Election Broadcast, June 4, 1945.
