POPSActor James Whitmore dies Wonderful Actor. He played U.S. Navy Adm. William F. Halsey in the World War II epic "Tora! Tora! Tora!" and was an imperious ape in the 1968 classic "Planet of the Apes." Whitmore looked natural in cowboy boots and hat, appearing in such TV series as "Bonanza," "The Virginian" and "Gunsmoke." He also did commercials for Miracle-Gro plant foods. According to IMDb.com, Whitmore was born in 1921 in White Plains, New York. He was married four times: twice to Nancy Mygatt, for four years in the '70s to actress Audra Lindley, and since 2001 to actress Noreen Nash. He was the father of three children, including actor-director James Whitmore Jr.

POPSMy Vote For President! Healthcare: Free healthcare for everyone! With the doctors we have left, we will need to make sure that we keep as many people alive as possible. Abortion: Not really an option since we lost 2/3 of the world's population. National Security: How about international security. We need to protect our world from any future invasion. There won't be another alien attack under Whitmore's watch. Education: It looks like education is free too. We need all the smart people we can get. Due do the disaster we only have a few college campuses to choose from. We want a President who doesn't believe in red or blue states, but one who believes that we should spend every single dollar on a pending alien attack. He should be a single dad who's sort of kind of looking for a woman. These are the things I need to see in my candidate. :p http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ag44dRO8LEA

POPSTop 10 Pre-Death Monologues in Film The clip has the links to videos of the 10 monologues The greatest challenge an actor can face, is the memorable death scene. The best can provoke deep reflection on mortality, and existence on a personal level. There's one thing that I've thought was 'in character' In a Star Trek Movie Generations. Captain Kirk (William Shatner) died twice. We 'knew' he was dead twice. He only got one monologue. (It's not on the list. ) I don't know if 10 videos links in a clip is too many, but I thought 'You only live once' Sometimes Death is just a setback. A 'speed hump' in the smooth flow of eternity. Perhaps God's way of telling us we should slow down a bit.

POPSNo Special Treatment for Paris Hilton: Democracy Lives! The core principle of democracy: that we are all equal partners in the governance of our country on the basis of our intrinsic human worth, not on accumulated power and wealth, is a principle constantly under siege. When a cute, famous, and outlandishly wealthy blond gets released from prison when in the same situation I would have to stay, that errodes the fundamentals of our society. I had promissed myself I wouldn't clip this Paris Hilton garbage, but Judge Michael T. Sauer deserves a medal as citizen of the year for using his power to enforce the principle of equal treatment under the law, even for Paris Hilton.

POPSEqual Justice? Is this fair and equal? Hell, most of the people I know would think they had won first prize in some sort of contest, if they could spend 45 days in a Hilton residence. What kind of punishment is this?

POPSParis sent home from jail! OMG...get real!! Who did she REALLY pay off? She should have to serve her time, just like anyne else! Our system totally sucks!

POPSParis Hilton goes to jail! I love Paris, but get real! I mean, just because she's a celebrity, should not mean that she gets special treatment, having her own cell away from other inmates! She should be treated the same way that any of us would be treated in the same situation!

POPSHilton to have sentence halved I'm not actually surprised that my first proper clip since my return to The Clip is about this vacuous nightmare. What I can't understand is how her sentence is already going to be halved for good behaviour when she hasn't even started it yet! Such preferential behaviour is surely not allowed!

POPSTop 40 Bands - Leafblower pretty predictable, although the White Stripes mention seems slightly passé, especially combined with the misspelling of the Raconteurs' name.
