The President's website starts from the premise of public option--that is what the Left has long desired. Government run health care, aka Single Payer (the government) is what they covet. They know that they'll likely lose seats in 2010, so this is their last, best, and probably only hope of getting the prize. "Reform will stop 'rationing' not increase it": Right now, when a person needs a procedure that is not covered by his insurance company, the individual complains to the doctor and to the insurance company. The doctor asks the insurance company for a review, writes a letter of medical necessity and the insurance company either approves or denies coverage. If the evidence is compelling, they approve. Sometimes this needs to be appeal. Sometimes, yelling on the phone is involved. If the insurance company doesn't approve, the patient can pay for the procedure himself. If the withholding of the procedure harms the patient, the patient sues the insurance company.

Govdelivery sent hundreds of e-mails from senior adviser David Axelrod asking supporters to help rebut criticism of Obama's health care plan circulating on the Internet. It also sent e-mails highlighting Obama's speech to the Muslim world in Cairo and the announcement of Sonia Sotomayor as a Supreme Court nominee. On Monday, the White House implemented several new changes to its Web site, apparently aimed at reducing the number of people who receive unsolicited e-mails and at fighting charges that it's collecting personal information on critics. POPSflag@whitehouse.gov Throws 3rd Party Groups Under The Bus in Email-Gate The White House told FOX News that third-party groups sending online petitions to the official administration Web site could be to blame for a rash of e-mails that have gone out to people who never requested them. The theory is that these groups are including the names and e-mails of members and petition-signers along with the petitions themselves, in turn embedding those e-mails into the White House distribution list. Are there other data mining methods that the White House used to attain individuals emails? Many people who have received the unwanted WH emails have stated that they they’re not members of any organization and have not been advocating for any cause. “I find it very disturbing and a little scary to say the least,” said Sarah Griffith, who got a widely circulated e-mail on health care reform from senior adviser David Axelrod last week. “I have no idea how they got my e-mail address, and they have it.”

You want to help improve health care, pass on this link. Just click, and they have links to your Facebook and Twitter account...if you have one...and a one click link to email the page. Nothing is set in stone yet so the more we advocate what we see as positive , like: you can't be denied coverage for pre-exisiting conditions, you can't lose your health care when losing or changing jobs, steps and options -- like the government option -- that may help reduce the skyrocketting costs, etc - are steps in the right direction.. The White House says: "There are too many folks in Washington who are willing to lie for partisan gain, or engage in hateful rhetoric ...We all need to step up -- and it starts with you passing along "Reality Check"
