POPSWhat's really at stake with the WGA strike At the risk of sounding like a completely batsh*t-crazy conspiracy theorist, it's time legal entities stopped being allowed protections above and beyond those allowed to non-legal entities. People before profits. Own the means of production. Do not place your destiny in the hands of anyone but you and your friends. Okay...I am totally batsh*t-crazy. But what sane person wouldn't be, living in an upside-down world like this one?

POPSGreedy writers? Yeah, right. I've posted links to a lot of great pieces about the WGA strike on my Twitter, but I especially loved how this paragraph boiled down a fundamental truth of the strike: not the rights of the writer or the fairness of union writers making more than journalists, but the gross and indecent behavior of corporate America. Back the writers, because the writers are you and me.

POPSMost Non-news News of the Century I wouldn't have even read this article if I hadn't wanted to clip it here. I can't think of anything I care less about than these people picketing so they can get paid more to further numb and debauch America's minds. It is not a monumentally important issue. People in Hollywood and New York seem to have this idea that we all care. We read about you like we watch the freak show at a carnival. Unions are rackets to begin with, and this one has got to be one of the biggest jokes of all.
