Ann was in the same situation then as Bristol is now, except the father hung around a little longer. And she didn't have a seething mob dogging her heels and then running back to their news networks and late-night talk shows. "It doesn't matter which Palin daughter got knocked up in that fictional scenario," you cry. "It's totally irrelevant to the joke!" Hey, don't tell me. Tell Willow Palin. I came a cross this article about a SC school superintendent who got pregnant out of wedlock during her watch over a school system that has tremendous problems with teen pregnancy. Some wanted her resignation. Others championed her defense. If that incident leads to some to shout, "Credibility Lost - you don't have the right to lead" - then what of a Vice President, potential Leader of the Free World, not being able to manage her own Family, and producing a pregnant teenager? How can you raise up a Nation when you cannot even raise up and protect your own children? Well, teenagers are sneaky and have a mind of their own. Perhaps US Gov. Palin, the Mother of FIVE kids ought to hire a nanny to watch her kids since she cannot supervise and protect her own brood. Why is it okay to add yet another teen pregnanacy to our Nation's ills? POPSObama is Correct about the Palin Pregnancy Story Barack Obama is correct. Sarah Palin's daughter's pregnancy is no one's business. It should be totally off limits in assessing Gov. Palin's ability to be a Vice President. Her young daughter isn't the first teenager to get pregnant outside of wedlock and she won't be the last. In itself the event says nothing about anyone. Barack Obama has shown himself to be a man of real integrity in this matter. He didn't resort to the no comment response that some politicians use when they hope that the scandal will hurt the opponent. Instead of viewing this as a political opportunity, he told the press clearly that they were stepping over a line that should be sacrosanct. Good for him.

POPSBroken Homes breaking the economic bank Perhaps we are not willing to look at the real cost of broken homes. Being a product of a broken home myself I can personally state the high price I had to pay as a result of being raised in a fatherless home. The emotional scars and damage caused by the harmful effects of a parent leaving were hard to overcome. I am unable to calculate the actual financial cost the broken home had on myself but I can say for a surety that it certainly had an ill effect on it. Now I am not saying to anyone to stay in a dangerous relationship but too many marriages are destroyed for no other reason then selfishness and unforgiveness. It is no better for the Christian home than it is for the non-Christian household it would appear. Perhaps we need to spend more time and energy on making ourselves better spouses than trying to fix our 'better half'?
