POPSDoes Google's Web Search Go Deep Enough Into Scholarly Archives? Open Access needs to be on this, too. Deep is one thing. Not permitting search engines to "crawl" is another. And Google doesn't index full web pages. It searches only the first 101k of each page, according to Google Guide http://www.googleguide.com If you're looking for something (few keywords) that you know are at the end of an article, you'll have to get creative. Google's comment about the Open Archives Initiative: "When we originally launched Sitemaps, we included support for the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) 2.0 protocol, an interoperability framework based on metadata harvesting. In the meantime, however, we've found that the information we gain from our support of OAI-PMH is disproportional to the amount of resources required to support it. Fewer than 200 sites are using OAI-PMH for Google Sitemaps at the moment."

POPSIs Brijit the 'Thinking Man's Digg?' Arrington called Brijit the 'Thinking Man's Digg,' presumably because it culls stories from high-minded sources and provides short abstracts. Even if it's not all it's cracked-up to be, it still is a nice idea and could be a great source. Or, it could be yet another useless, boring social news site. We'll see...

POPSHubcash - Make money with Hubpages I am a simple guy at heart. I need structure and a clear method to follow. Hub Pages cash Machine has a 5 day program that allows you to optimize your hb and drive traffic too it. You are provided with a step by step system that results in you making money with Hubpages as opposed to a load of theory and suggestions which nobody ever follows. Let's let a cat out of the bag. Google loves authority sites. You're newly installed dot info domain or your free blog at wordpress is NOT an authority sites. Hubpages and Squidoo are HUGE authority sites. Another bombshell: It is not just about search engines. Guess what you can be number 1 in google and if nobody s searching for the subject of your site then you will make nothing. Authority sites especially Web 2.0 sites get regular HUMAN visitors who electronically "flick through" the sites. Something catches their eye and they follow the links to your site.

POPSTop 10 Firefox Extensions, and More Why isn’t it completely comprehensive? There are a lot of lists out there that honestly aren’t all that great. Some of them are just repeats of what you’ll find at other places, and I don’t want to put you through visiting article after article if they are all essentially the same. 15 more categories in addition to the ones listed in the clip.
