POPSIsrael & US Preparing for Iran An alarming sign: propaganda to twist the facts around into an excuse to attack Iran, much as was done with Iraq before we attacked. Iran is in the business of providing nuclear isotobes for medical use. Its recent expansion is in accord with international regulations for that industry, yet we are told its a movement towards making nuclear bomb material. Note that Iran hasn't attacked another country in 200 years. Also note that Israel has nuclear weapons, so its rather silly for Iran to attack Israel. The way I see it, we're setting Iran up for an attack. I'm no fan of Iran. I'm no fan of war mongering either.I'm no fan of destroying a country to grab its oil or control its territory. I'm no fan of weakening our military through prolonged exposure to war. And media that deliberately distorts truth really irks me. What do you think??

POPSAkio Toyoda, Toyota CEO Apologizes for Cars. Wonder if it ever occurred to Mr. Toyoda to apologize for his family's making weapons that killed Americans, Chinese, Korean. British, Australians, Malays, Singaporeans, Indians, and profiting from making those bayonets and Japanese army trucks and supporting the war?

POPSProudly Saying NO No, I do not want us to curb our natural resource exploration for the sake of the environmentalist lobbies. We need to find and utilize more reserves of oil, coal, and natural gas. No, I do not want the government telling me how or where to educate my child. No, I do not want the government involved in my personal health care. I can take care of myself. And I will take care of family and friends who need health assistance. No, I do not support killing fetuses, regardless of their stage of development. If we are not allowed life, then liberty and the pursuit of happiness are meaningless. No, I do not support the destruction of fetuses for scientific research, no matter how important a potential discovery may be. No, I do not want illegal aliens absorbing resources and influencing legislation designed for American citizens. Everyone is welcome in our home; just come in the front door. No, I do not want dictatorships to possess nuclear weapons. No, I do not want terro

POPSAttack Iran Now! I wish Israel would 'put up or shut up,' and attack Iran now. We've been hearing such threats every week for the last two years, so just do it. I don't like how Israel wants to drag other nations into this war.

POPSBBC News - Northern Ireland INLA paramilitaries dump terror cache
The Irish National Liberation Army has decommissioned its weapons, days before the body overseeing Northern Ireland paramilitary weapons ceases to exist. The move took place in recent weeks and is expected to be confirmed on Monday by the INLA and General John de Chastelain, head of the IICD. The INLA was a small, ruthless group which killed more than 120 people, including Tory MP Airey Neave in 1979. In October, it said it would pursue its aims by exclusively peaceful means. The republican paramilitary group is believed to have been responsible for 111 murders from its formation in 1975 until its ceasefire in 1998, but it is still thought to have been involved in a number of murders since then. As recently as February 2009, the INLA claimed responsibility for the murder of a drug dealer in Londonderry. It came to world prominence in 1979 with the murder of Conservative Northern Ireland spokesman Airey Neave by leaving a bomb under his car in the House of Commons car

POPS Trouble from a Pencil What you're looking at is real and deadly. My 11th grade grandson told me about this man's books and I had to see it for myself. Forget the metal detectors at the High School doors, this little baby is quite literally "Death on a Stick", and made from only the finest of school supplies. I recently viewed a segment of "Myth Busters" where they made a paper maché crossbow to see if a prison death may have been committed by a certain individual and there were varied results. This little doosey may just have done the trick. However I don't know the true firing range of the projectile, it could, as Mom used to say "...can put your eye out with that thing"!

POPSBehind the Lines
Irrespective of how the families of service personnel think, this expose reveals the lies that British and American politician perpetrate. I soldiered all my life and if young enough would be with our troops, not because the WAR is right, but because I loved the work. If the viewer does not like the truth they should get onto that Lying Blair and Brown. From the very outset, political avoidance of truth has and is endemic. When everyone regales about the lack of helicopter cover, the most damning silence is the issuing of the SA80 assault weapon. Which amateur ever bought that toy with it ineffectual ammunition is treachery in its utmost. Every single news reel shows infantrymen standing, sitting just outside of the weapons range making the infantry section spectators in their own deaths. With its predecessors the 7.62, at least the section could function properly and become a close deterrent. But No! We have to follow the Americans and use their ammunition, a legacy of the ill-fate

POPSUK, Russia, like Iran's Nuclear Deal
You would think...I mean, I would think that if you've misled nations into going to war, killing hundreds of thousands, and never found any weapons of mass destruction (in fact, these were deliberate lies) -- that the propaganda to going to war with Iran because We Claim they want nuke weapons someday in the future -- you would think that spin deserves a second thought. But, apparently not much. Israel threatens war with Iran every week and the USA buys into this scam -- we are the biggest weapons dealers in the world, we got to sell them to somebody, war is good for business. But is seems these sneaky, evil, WMD-intentioned Iranians have foiled the warmongers Master Plans, again -- by cooperating -- again, on negotiated terms that have taken some time to work out -- again. Yup. Pretty soon they will be able to get that nuclear facility the USA sold them -- back when we were supporting the dictator Shah -- get that back up and running. Russian & China ain't gonna play along

POPSIsland residents sue U.S., saying military made them sick The U.S. government's response to their lawsuit is to invoke sovereign immunity, arguing that residents have no right to sue it. The government also disputes that the Navy's activities on Vieques made islanders ill, citing a 2003 study by scientists from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that found no link.

POPSProdigal Son & Rabbi Sex Scandal Some stories simply take your breath away. The Ponzi Scam of Bernie Madoff is one. The largest financial scam by an individual. (Goldman Sachs, probably, for a bank scam world record) This story is from the Tablet: A New Read on Jewish Life. Or the stealing money from Native American Indians to buy weapons for Israel -- like convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff did (among many other felonies). Whew! I like the part where a sheriff's deputy finds marijuana in his Bentley, so Aguiar accuses him of anti-Semitism and then tells the deputy: "I could buy you."

POPSAn eyewitness description of Blackwater's Nisoor Square shootings (Sept. 2007) The father of a nine-year-old boy, Ali Kinani, killed by Blackwater employees in September 2007 in what was apparently an unprovoked massacre of unarmed civilians, is now suing the Blackwater employees he thinks were responsible. This article provides a rundown of some of the currently available information, including Kinani's own eyewitness account of the incident. It makes pretty harrowing reading. The federal lawsuit against Blackwater was recently dismissed; the company attempted to settle with Kinani in the matter of his son's death for $20,000. (One official remarked that it was important to keep the settlements low, because otherwise Iraqis might try "to get killed by our guys to financially guarantee their family's future.")
