POPSChoosing randomly? The entertainment options on offer to us are almost unlimited. Trying to make an informed choice between all possible alternatives would take too long: they're all good, so why not pick one at random? But is this a warning sign of terminal decadence? The idea that so many pleasures are available to us that we're unable to choose has a hint of the last days of Rome about it." I think that in a way it is a sign of this age of information and higher availabilities. It calls for higher levels of clarity and processing. otherwise we'll be lost in translation...

POPS Wind Blows Kite Surfer Into Bldg. Caught On Tape (CBS4) ― A man in Fort Lauderdale seeking some thrills on the rough surf didn't heed that warning and ended up in the hospital after being hurt in an astonishing kite boarding accident. The kite boarder was harnessed into his sail when the wind violently picked him up and slammed him onto the sandy beach. Then, he was dragged across the sand before being lifted up into the air again and blown across the street where the wind slammed him into a building. Fort Lauderdale fire rescue crews quickly arrived on the scene and transported him to Broward General Medical Center. He is currently listed in critical condition, but his friends continue to insist they believe he will make a full recovery. Kearney's friends say he was strapped into a harness with emergency releases. However, everything happened so fast, it's possible he had no time to think about unhooking his clasps. POPSA Warning to Obama Neglect by the Clintons is hardly to be overlooked as this ambitious pair had better things to pay attention to in their furious political rise to the top than their daughter. And sexual abuse is not to be totally ruled out either given Bill’s sexual tastes. Not for Hillary, who is sufficiently self-serving and devious that one would not be surprised to see her team up with Huckabee on a national reconciliation ticket to satisfy her political ambition. Hopefully Obama will not be removed by the ruling class by assassination, which they would do if methods to remove him don’t work. These could include much media humiliation or using their federal prosecutors on a leash to try Resko at this most inopportune time or even Resko inventing a story about Barack in order to trade 15 years over his head for two. Or something like that. Post from supporter

POPSCluebat Applied to the AGW Again... Content Warning, but excellent Fisking of the AGW nonsense. A Sampling All traces of the Kiffian vanish abruptly around 8,000 years ago, when the Sahara became very dry for a thousand years. They must not have listened to Ugh Gore’s dire predictions when he chiseled out his rockumentary “An Inconvenient Twooth: How Woolly Mammoth Drivers Are Killing The Planet!”. The fools. Poor, ignorant fools.

POPSEscaping extinction It is a sad story, the cancer in this specie is infectious, probably due to parasitic disease. again some say it is related to humans since in population that leaves away the cancer is rarer. yet the biological stress has created a partial fast response that answers the demand partially.

POPStheir greatest crime of all--ignoring the climate change
He added that they should, in his opinion, "be tried for high crimes against humanity and nature… I anticipate testifying against relevant CEOs in future public trials." That's a novel thought in our nation's capital. Oh, and while he was at it, he probably should have thrown in George W., Dick C., and crew. What they haven't done (and what they've blocked from being done) over these last eight years may turn out to be their greatest crime of all. Talk about smoking guns... or is it melting ice? And here's the sad thing, as with so much else in these last years, the only way global warming has gotten the slightest respect in Bush's Washington is as a national security issue. Big surprise. The Navy, for instance, was already holding a symposium entitled "Naval operations in an Ice-Free Arctic" in April 2001; now, it seems that by 2010, or 2015 at the latest, it may have its wish -- an iceless Arctic Ocean in the summer for the first time in perhaps one million years and a scramble for
