POPS25%+ of all Pentagon money is unaccounted for Why Bush & Co. love war. Little known fact: George Herbert Walker, grandfather of George Bush Sr. and George Bush Jr, besides being a major financier to the Nazis along with his son-in-law Prescott Bush, was also appointed supervisor of military contracts by Woodrow Wilson. Interestingly enough, it's much easier to find out details of the family's dealings with the Nazis than it is to uncover the simple, biographical fact that the Bush dynasty has been hardwired into the finances of the Pentagon since Day One. Ripping off the nation via the Pentagon is a four generation old business for this crew. No wonder they're so good at it. 9/11 helped then both cover their tracks and take things to a new level. Wow, that's a pretty good scam for some people...I wonder where all that tax money goes? It's bad enough how they rip us off legally, let alone down the rabbit hole to...?

POPSScum destroy demonstration's message.
I watched the debate, to an empty Westminster chamber, when several opposition MP's raised the point with the Deputy Speaker. I have waited for a response, scouring the London papers for report, but I found none. Typical of such occasions, being a Thursday and the pub in the Village -highly subsidised by the tax payer - probably the place to confer with your legal advisor about your dubious expenses - neither Joan Humble or Gordon Marsden were present. What great advertisement for two MP's who are supposed to represent the view and needs of veterans if they cannot support the fighting troop. You may have read that I know the wars out east to be illegal. That does not prevent me from supporting the troops 100% and a little more. I honestly believe that all those MP's who voted for these conflicts should be tried for War Crimes. If a half-wit like me recognised obfuscation with the dubious documents and the WMD, what does it say about out highly informed politicians? For the demo

POPSBanned(in US) WW1Socialist anti-draft pamphlet This is a portion of an anti-draft pamphlet that was put out by the Socail Democratic (Socialist) Party during World War 1. This led to a Supreme Court ruling (US vs Schenk) http://www.law.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/conlaw/schenk.html While we do not have a draft now, I find the portions clipped to be quite relevant to today.

POPSIs Labour buying silence? After politicising the Civil Service, this corrupt government is now financially rewarding betrayal. Betrayal of an ethos that meant the British CS was the least corrupt in the World. Who can say that this is earned when there are over 3million pensioners still not receiving their rightful benefits, when English men are being suborned into third class citizens in their own country with threats of insidious new laws that prohibit love of ones own country, where these same civil servants act as judge and jury into claims for disability from injured war heroes, these same people who have denied access to personal records that prevent thousands of former soldiers getting a real pensions. Also these same people acquiesce with corrupt political regimes in the hiding of expenses abuses.

POPSObscene Military Budget is much biger than Reported Legally see the article for the cuts behind the figures here: Now, imagine that, due to a little more Pentagon/Bush administration wizardry, even this black budget estimate is undoubtedly a low-ball figure. One reason is simple enough: The proposed $541 billion Pentagon 2009 budget doesn't even include money for actual wars. George W. Bush's wars are all paid for by "supplemental" bills like the $162 billion one Congress will soon pass -- so the Department of Defense's $34 billion black budget skips "war-related funding." This means that even the overall figure for that budget remains darker than we might imagine (as in "black hole"). The Pentagon not only produces stealth planes, it is, in budgetary terms, a stealth operation. If honestly accounted, the actual Pentagon yearly budget, including all the "military-related" funds salted away elsewhere, is probably now more than $1 trillion a year.

POPSGOA Finds Fraud and Fabrication in Pakistan Aid $5.6 billion to Pakistan since 9/11 that the Pentagon (again) cannot account for with any credibility. "Expenses have been exaggerated, if not fabricated", says the GOA report. Clearly there is black op and covert money channeling going on, while Congress just dishes it out when asked by the Bush administration. Secrecy is a sign of rogue government that cannot be trusted. Your federal taxes at work and unaccounted for.

POPSNew GI Bill Close to Final Approval The package also includes a monthly living stipend, an annual book allowance, and money for tutorial assistance, along with many other features. At this point it gets complicated, however, in terms of how they're going to actually implement this thing. But for all of you affected by this, Maze explains: Benefits increases take effect as soon as the war funding bill is signed into law by President Bush, which will happen in the next few weeks. But veterans now in school will not get the higher amounts right away because lawmakers are giving the Veterans Affairs Department until Aug. 1, 2009, to calculate and pay amounts that will vary by state and by school. Retroactive payments will have to be made. Also, anyone who had not previously enrolled in the GI Bill will have to wait until Aug. 1, 2009, to collect any payments.

POPSFamily Devastated Over Iraq Vet's Suicide McCain says it's " not too important " when we end this and bring people home for good. In fact, he's cool with staying 100 years or more . I guess you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs...

POPSMurtha Blocks Iraq Funding to pass a funding bill, and Democratic leaders refuse to bring for a vote clean legislation that would pass with largely Republican support. Nevertheless, Murtha believes it's appropriate to nickel and dime the Pentagon, while holding up long-term funding. Service members, including those serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and essential civilians would serve without pay, while nonessential civilian employees would be furloughed, the department said. But don't worry: Congress supports the troops.

POPSSupport the troops... ...Mr. President... and Mr. McCain... put your money where your braggadocio is... Will it cost? Sure .. .but expenses at in-state "state" schools aren't outrageous. And even if it is expensive -- 36 months active duty should be enough to earn any enlisted man a college degree: it helps them, and helps the country (which is sorely short of educated people...) Helping an entire generation get an education is a good thing: probably one of the best ways the government can spend its money ... and which group could be more deserving?

POPSCensoring Iraq Michael Yon went to Iraq initially at the behest of military friends who insisted that what Americans were seeing on the news wasn't an accurate reflection of the reality on the ground. Two of my friends died on consecutive days. When the charred remains of American contractors were strung from a bridge in Falluja, I put aside a book I was writing to attend the funerals. In Colorado we laid to rest a Special Forces friend who'd been killed in Samara; then on to Florida for the funeral of the friend who'd been murdered and mutilated in Falluja. A photo of the dang ling corpses won a Pulitzer. I purchased and borrowed the equipment required for the journey. Camera, satellite phone, laptop, body armor, helmet, and so on. Like most of the people who would later be called "alternative media," I bore these expenses myself, including the flights to Kuwait.

POPSExpenses At U.N. Balloon 25 Percent U.S. Demands on Body Help Drive Up Budget The additional funds in the latest request would be used to renovate the landmark U.N. headquarters in New York, fund war-crimes investigators in Lebanon and pay $100 million to build a reinforced, attack-resistant U.N. headquarters building in Baghdad. But they would also be used to pay nearly $7 million for a 2009 anti-racism conference in Durban, South Africa, which Washington believes would serve as a forum to bash Israel. Zalmay Khalilzad, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, insists that the organization will have to find savings or live without its new programs. On the eve of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, Bush spoke before the U.N. General Assembly and challenged the institution to enforce the resolution requiring Saddam Hussein to disarm, suggesting that the institution's reason for being was at stake: "Will the United Nations serve the purpose of its founding, or will it be irrelevant?"

POPS$3 Trillion Dollar War in Middle East But the shedding of innocent blood, of civilians in particular, cannot be priced. But here is the economic breakdown and comparison of the cost of war in Iraq and Afghanistan thus far. It staggers the mind, and has sunk America deep in debt!

POPSAstutely Unplugged True freedom is FREE THOUGHT. A man who allows his mind to become enslaved, conditioned & deceived is blissfully unaware of invisable chains. Conditioned masses are considered prime USDA cattle/slaves by the powers that be.Conditioning requires embracing many deciets. Who would follow blindly the decievers? Notice the PTB never sacrifice. It is the members of the herd they have earmarked for sacrifice in endless war rackets and corperate altars of greed. Who benifits? Who really uses fear as a weapon? Who would try to force all to believe the enemies are without rather than within? Questions are good. But not to the PTB who want obedient mind slaves.

POPSBush Admin urges Social Security fix The Economy has been fixed like a dog. Spend the pension fund in a chronic bout of pyromania, then go on as though things like that happen all the time. Reduce benefits, but cut taxes. The rich benefit from this war. They should pay for it. No, the pensioners and unemployed pay. If you don't wan't your benefits reduced join the Marines. If the U.S. goes bankrupt, the rich have it planned. They have moved the money offshore, and kept the debt in the U.S. When the U.S. is declared banktupt, they can bunker down until the debt is discharged, then bring the money back. Dubai is a lovely place for a long holiday, no expenses spared.

POPSTaxes under Bush $5000 per taxpayer - that's $10,000 per houshold. Of course, that is only if you are working and middle class. The rich probably won't pay for it. Thanks Republicans - great job.

POPSDid Petraeus contribute to US Colonel's Suicide?
In a March 2005 e-mail, Petraeus told Westhusing that he had “already exceeded the very lofty expectations that all had for you.” His e-mails became less frequent and more ominous. He began having increasingly contentious conflicts with the contractors from USIS. There were ongoing problems with USIS’s expenses, and Westhusing was forced to deal with allegations that USIS had seen or participated in the killing of Iraqis. He received an anonymous letter claiming USIS was cheating the military at every opportunity, that several hundred weapons assigned to the counter-terrorism training program had disappeared, and that a number of radios, each of which cost $4,000, had also disappeared. The letter concluded that USIS was “not providing what you are paying for” and that the entire training operation was “a total failure.” Westhusing was devastated. Even if the charges were accurate, there was little that could be done. Iraq had no functioning judicial system, and there were questi

POPS101 GI suicides must not be an afterthought Cutting V.A. benefits; horrific conditions in V.A. hospitals; making G.I.s pay for lost equipment, health insurance and some travel expenses; not providing the proper equipment or enough equipment; families having to spend money on proper helmets and vests; reclassifying injuries so they're not covered by the V.A.; not planning for or providing mental health care; extending tours of duty; gutting the National Guard leaving their loved ones at home with unprotected borders and no help in the event of an attack or national disaster.

POPS$1,000,000,000,000 - That's $1 TRILLION For Iraq War "The military will need more money because of the "surge" and the purchase of hundreds of armored vehicles capable of withstanding the roadside bombs responsible for most of the US combat deaths. England said the Pentagon will provide a revised 2008 cost estimate in September. But McGovern said he is worried about the long-term financial impact of the war, adding that his primary concern is that the United States is borrowing money to pay for it. Some leading economists have predicted that, depending on how long troops remain in Iraq, the endeavor could reach several trillion dollars as a result of more "hidden" costs -- including recruiting expenses to replenish the ranks and the lifelong benefits the government pays to veterans." Once again, that Sept. timeline rears its head. I can't help but wonder what cost diplomacy would bring. You know... diplomacy, that function experienced leaders say we are lacking in this warped effort.

POPSHalliburton accused of $1bn overcharge
Something that We The People........had to pay for. Halliburton managers neglected water treatment for bases (80% troops had to shower in water tainted in cholera, thyphoid, malaria), All managers and secretaries provided with Escalades, H2's, and other expensive vehicles and just written off to the gov. H2's? Anyway, convoy trucks carrying supplies were never repaired when disabled, rather they were just blown up by the military and replaced with a new $75,000 trucks. Charged $100 per bag of laundry for troops, and the laundry came back worse than before as reported by troops. Food lines numbered in the hundreds at military bases because food was only served during daylight hours, instead of 24 hrs. a day to save money. Computers and any type of equipment intentionally ordered wrong and them burned in big fire pits just to bill the gov. ALL OF THIS WAS DONE BECAUSE HALLIBURTON RECEIVED A PERCENTAGE OF ALL EXPENSES AS PROFIT, SO THE MORE MONEY IT USED AND CHARGED TO THE GOV., TH
