POPSWhat I've Discovered Of course, this article is not to make light of the financial burden those have who have to drive long miles to work, but it's a great article for the things in life we "miss" by always being in a hurry in those 5 minute drives.

POPSOutages, Flooding Follow Dolly in TXby
Wisco Yesterday 2:29 PM The piece goes on: Perry, who flew over the area Thursday with U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, cautioned residents not to rest easy just yet. "It appears that we have handled it as well as it can be handled. But it is far from over," Perry said, noting possible flooding over the next five days from runoff as the storm moves northward. Sen. Cornyn said Dolly should remind the federal government that it needs to fund levee improvements along the Rio Grande. "We're lucky Mother Nature didn't deal us a harsher blow," Cornyn said. That's the first time in a long time that I've agreed with John Cornyn.

POPSSpider helps track disease outbreaks A 'Spider' being "The Web-walking part of a search engine that collects pages for indexing in the search engine's database. Also called a bot.":answers.com I thought I'd better put that in, because when I first saw the title, I had visions of biologists, out in the wild, catching spiders to be tested for disease. Now if you want to find out about disease outbreaks, you can just google them before the WHO Centres of disease control have any idea. Maybe WHO should google not yahoo.

POPSTranscript of the Pope's Homily at World Youth Day For some reason I decided to come out of clipmarks retirement with this clip. It just made me chuckle. "It starts off a little clumsy, but it makes as much sense as anything I've ever heard uttered by a clergyman by the end."
