POPSDe-Fund Holder's Manhattan Transfer FTA: "No turbaned genie ever appeared out of Aladdin’s lamp to grant three greater wishes than these. KSM to Genie: One, I want to exploit my status as mass-murdering terrorist; Two, I want to inflict even greater pain and suffering on the families of those thousands whom I’ve murdered; Three, I want to make my trial a magnet for my brother jihadists throughout the world." This will make OJ's trial look like a Student Council meeting.

POPSNidal Hasan Bought A Para-Military Automatic Pistol With Armor-Piercing Capabilities
The FBI dispatched agents from Austin, San Antonio and Waco to the scene, and pressed into service a 15-member forensic unit to help military police collect evidence. Agents from the bureau's Washington field office interviewed relatives, neighbors and friends who knew Hasan during his years in the Washington area. Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives also are on hand to help with weapons analysis. Investigators also focused on Guns Galore, a firearms store just down the highway from the mosque. Store owner David Cheadle said federal agents interviewed him about the sale of a FN Herstal Five-Seven pistol that was used in the shootings. "It is a popular choice for personal defense," Cheadle said, pulling one from his case, "but it's expensive" -- more than $1,100 at his store. The officials said a continuing search of Major Hasan’s computer indicates that he had logged on to Web sites that celebrated radical Islamic ideologies and that he had....

POPSInsider reveals secrets of North American Union plot WND has regularly reported that the unannounced goal of the SPP was to create a North American Union, similar to the European Union, by advancing the trade integration realized in NAFTA into continental political integration through the creation of some 20 trilateral bureaucratic working groups and the North American Competitiveness Council, composed of 30 North American business executives hand-picked, 10 each by the Chambers of Commerce of the three countries.

POPSEU-U.S. Integration: Unattractive Union Don't forget the NAU/SPP when pondering swine flu. "In January, the U.S. Joint Forces Command identified two large nations in real danger of "rapid and sudden collapse." One was Pakistan, the other Mexico. " Nice article about the history and future of global government and the true policy makers.

POPSRevenge of the "Waco Gene"
This topic is getting a lot of play. In recent months we have heard of tales of FEMA concentration camps: http://forums.ebay.com/db1/topic/The-Soapbox/Fema-Has-Concentration/510085018 And U.S. Army troops to serve as U.S. policemen: http://www.newswithviews.com/baldwin/baldwin472.htm The general public thinks these are good developments, to be used to control the ‘radical element’ within our society out to disrupt our very way of life. But now with recent Homeland Security re-defining what a terrorist is, we see the cross-hairs being leveled on everyday average citizens. Earlier this month, the ERB issued a nine-page assessment of "right-wing extremism" which, basically, acknowledges that every "local" police agency in the US is now a sensory organ, and enforcement appendage, of the Homeland Security State. State and local police are now being tasked to become Big Brothers “eyes and ears” to gather intelligence on these newly defined “extremists” within their jurisdi

POPSThe Plan to Use Tribunals on McVeigh and the Militias: How That Doctrine is Now in Place
They asserted that “citizenship of the accused poses no obstacle” to the application of the laws of war to such Americans, with the Bill of Rights providing no protection: It is legally and intellectually disingenuous to provide terrorists the same rights as persons accused of ordinary crimes against society. Our Bill of Rights was designed to protect individuals in society against the arbitrary exercise of government power. It is not meant to protect commando groups warring on society through arbitrary acts of mass violence. We recognize that our proposal may have an adverse impact on the Bill of Rights. Regrettable as this may be, the demonstrable risk of harm to innocent persons posed by terrorism ... comparatively outweighs the speculative risk of such an adverse impact. The “commando groups” Crona and Richardson had most in mind were the domestic militias formed throughout the United States in the 1990s in response to Ruby Ridge and the Waco Siege

POPSLiars for Christ The not surprising survey by the Baptist funded Baylor University which shows religion holding its own is shown to be more of a propoganda screed than a scientific survey. This does not reflect well on a well known "institute of higher learning" such as Baylor. Particularly when the biased survey is so easily refuted. It kind of reminds me of the past administration. Tell a lie often enough and you can get a sizable number of people to start to believe it.

POPSDavid Koresh's Mother Fatally Stabbed, Her Sister Arrested Halderman wrote a 2007 autobiography, "Memories of the Branch Davidians: The Autobiography of David Koresh's Mother," that described how her son, Vernon Howell, became David Koresh, leader of the Branch Davidian cult. In 1993, agents of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms tried to arrest Koresh for allegedly stockpiling weapons and explosives at the Branch Davidians' ranch compound outside Waco. The confrontation led to a 51-day standoff that ended when the complex caught fire and burned to the ground on April 19, 1993, killing Koresh and nearly 80 of his followers. About two dozen children were among the victims. The government claimed the Davidians committed suicide by setting the fire and shooting themselves. Survivors said the blaze was started by tear gas rounds fired into the compound. A 10-month independent investigation concluded in 2000 that Koresh was solely to blame.

POPSVA claims found in piles to be shredded Peake said three of VA’s 57 regional offices were involved, without naming them. Veterans of Foreign Wars said they were told four regional offices — in Detroit, St. Louis, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Waco, Texas — were identified as having documents in shredding bins that should not have been there. “The VA inspector general conducted a routine investigation of Detroit’s mailroom and discovered five documents in the shredder bin, then three pieces are found in St. Louis, two in Waco, and some more in St. Petersburg,” he said. “The question that begs to be asked and answered is how many veterans had their disability and compensation claims disappear down a paper shredder?” The halt in shredding was ordered by Patrick Dunne, the retired Navy rear admiral sworn in just weeks ago as VA’s new undersecretary for benefits. “Secretary Peake must hold everyone involved personally accountable for this disgraceful management failure,

POPSOver half of Americans believe in guardian angels Also, political party was linked to religious beliefs, with 77 percent of Republicans saying they believed in heaven, compared to 54 percent of Democrats. Those Americans who say they do not believe in God -- four percent -- as well as those who say they have no religion -- 11 percent -- were very close the figures in the 2005 survey. In all 45 percent of Americans say they have had at least two religious encounters in their lives, the survey found, and conservative Protestants were more likely than Catholics or Jews to report religious or mystical experiences.

POPSThe Bush Crime Family Thrives on.
Amazingly, Bush Sr. completely insulated himself from any personal consequences regarding Iran-Contra. Like a good mafia don, he had layers and layers of loyal "button men" willing to shut up and take the fall for him. His good friend Bill Clinton, who by many accounts protected the gun export and cocaine importation leg of this trade as it was conducted out of Mena, Arkansas, ran against Bush for president in 1992, won, and promptly discontinued all further investigation into the Iran-Contra affair. If you want to take this a little deeper, the folks who were incinerated at Waco by Clinton and Janet Reno very early in Clinton's presidency, had a thriving business converting semi-automatic rifles to automatic ones. It's never been made clear who the customers for these weapons were, but if you look at a map, Waco, Texas is not that far from Mena, Arkansas. Bill Clinton's representatives in the ATF office in Little Rock started feverishly developing their case against the Wac
