POPSCNN: Angry Republicans Hassling Democrats at Polling Stations From the website: The officer, who’s name we are with holding, specifically heard the men discussing that he was a police officer and that they now know where he lives. The officer confronted the men and they took off. He contacted the local police who responded and caught up with them and about a dozen other men a few blocks away. According to the police report, the men were known criminals and when asked why they were in the neighborhood they stated they were “campaigning for the Democratic Party.” Gangbangers Going Door to Door to ‘Get Out the Vote’ for New Jersey Dems http://gatewaypundit.firstthings.com/2009/11/new-jersey-gangbangers-going-door-to-door-to-get-out-the-vote-for-new-jersey-dems-video/

POPSCongress Must Pass Republican Leader Boehner’s Defund ACORN Act
or any other form of agreement to this criminal organization. ACORN ally Representative Jerrold Nadler has lead the charge against the Defund ACORN Act. He has claimed that it is an unconstitutional *" Bill of Attainder " an argument that has been thoroughly rebutted by former FEC Commissioner Hans von Spakovsky. Nadler had no such reservations when he co-sponsered legislation to punish AIG employees who had been awarded bonuses. *A legislative act pronouncing a person guilty of a crime, usually treason, without trial and subjecting that person to capital punishment and attainder. Such acts are prohibited by the U.S. Constitution. Congress moving to cut off funds to ACORN for the next 50 days is a merely a first step. An organization with ACORN’s history of voter registration fraud, tax evasion, and criminal activity should never again be eligible to receive any federal funds. Stopping payment to this criminal enterprise is not enough.

POPSDem contingency plan for NJ Gov election They allegedly obtained messenger ballots from the county clerk and submitted them to the board of elections as votes on behalf of voters who, in fact, never received or voted the ballots or, in some cases, were given only the security envelope for the ballot and were told to sign it. Those voters were not given the opportunity to vote in most instances.

POPSTessa Jowell's rich, corrupt husband What is better for the nation, this corrupt man with his complicity spouse, or a wanker who charges the nation for his porn whilst his wife walks around with a police escort and anti-stab jacket? That's Labour all over. Labour in Ashton in Makersfield willl be losing one of the most inept, lazy self promotional MP's in Lancashire and then have no say on his replacement. That's Labour. Blackpool MP Gordon Marden has not a word of encouragement for the family of Andy Miller who died in rge hands of a bailiff as he was demanding payment for a challenged fine for speeding. The evidence of They Work for You shows where Gay Gordon's priorities lie, and it appears not to be in the interest of the ordinary English voter.

POPS The Truth May Be … Out There Anyway, I don’t know if there was a publicity-grabbing hoax plotted, or if an opportunity was seized on the fly, or if it all innocently happened the way Balloon Dad says it did. But whatever happened yesterday, I have a sneaking suspicion the flying Jiffy Pop balloon was not originally conceived, built and being tested as an innovative commuting vehicle. It’s not for nothing Shepard Smith and everyone else was comparing that thing to a UFO yesterday. Maybe, like the Richard Dreyfuss character in ”Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” Richard Heene was just strangely compelled to make his experimental 3DLAV commuting device look like a traditional Roswell-inspired flying saucer hoax.

POPSProp 8 lawyer admits he doesn't know how same-sex marriage would threaten opposite-sex marriage More: Walker pressed on, asking again for specific "adverse consequences" that could follow expanding marriage to include same-sex couples. Cooper cited a study from the Netherlands, where gay marriage is legal, showing that straight couples were increasingly opting to become domestic partners instead of getting married. "Has that been harmful to children in the Netherlands? What is the adverse effect?" Walker asked. Cooper said he did not have the facts at hand. "But it is not self-evident that there is no chance of any harm, and the people of California are entitled not to take the risk," he said. "Since when do Constitutional rights rest on the proof of no harm?" Walker parried, adding the First Amendment right to free speech protects activities that many find offensive, "but we tolerate those in a free society."

POPSForget About Gay Marriage...Apparently, We Still Haven't Settled Inter-racial Marriage
On the marriage front, the actions of the judiciary this past week were a mixed bag. In San Francisco, U.S. Dist. Judge Vaughn Walker refused to dismiss a challenge by marriage rights proponents to California's Prop 8, which limits marriage in the state to a union between a man and a woman. This came as welcome news to California's marriage law proponents whose state law challenges to Prop. 8 proved unsuccessful before the California Supreme Court. Ironically, on the very page where this story was reported online, a link appeared, stating that an interracial couple was denied a marriage license in LA. Both articles are worth reading, but the article about the LA case contains quotes by the judge who denied the marriage license. These quotes are shocking in their narrow-mindedness and reek of the same bigotry that the U.S. Supreme Court supposedly put to rest when it outlawed bans against interracial marriage in Loving v. Virginia. I am dismayed by the ability of the

POPSACORN Throws Out Republican Voter Registrations " Fatiyyah Muhammad didn’t know anything about ACORN at that time. She didn’t know that ACORN has been doing this for a long time. As far back as November 2006 the organization was indicted for some 40,000 illegal voter registrations, and that was before any of the recent revelations."

POPSThe sound of ACORN falling Appearing before the National Press Club, Lewis condemned as "McCarthyism" the scrutiny her group has drawn since employees in several cities were filmed advising undercover journalists on how to commit housing fraud. They're just bad apples, see, and she's working to "turn this thing around." But what of the ACORN affiliates under investigation in multiple states for voter fraud? What of the Rathkes themselves? Nope, the evidence is piling up that ACORN is rotten all through. No wonder its political allies are running for cover. Lewis said she doubts the group will ever get federal money again. That would sure be a good start.

POPSLamar Smith Sent a Letter to Attorney General Eric Holder: Investigate Allegations of Criminal Conduct Against ACORN
“Because the President’s political ties to ACORN may discourage senior Justice Department officials from authorizing an investigation, I have called on the Attorney General to appoint a special counsel who is independent of the administration and free from any undue political influence. “Political favoritism has no place at the Justice Department. We’ve already seen this administration dismiss one case against a political ally"the New Black Panther Party"for no apparent reason. I remain concerned that politicization at the Justice Department once again may result in the administration’s political friends getting a free pass. Only an independent investigation can ensure that justice is served in this case.” Last month, Ranking Member Smith sent letters to Justice Department Inspector General Glenn Fine and FBI Director Robert Mueller calling for investigations into ACORN’s use of federal funds and possible criminal violations.

POPSFEMA Grant to ACORN is Offensive Rest of Article Below... I’ve had grave reservations about ACORN for some time, and over the past year we’ve seen numerous examples of serious allegations of wrongdoing on the part of this organization and its employees across the country. I simply can’t see the logic behind diverting much needed funding from worthy fire departments to this organization. So last week, I wrote a letter to Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano requesting that she rescind this grant from ACORN. As of today, the Secretary has not responded to my request. This site will post a copy of the letter for you to read and see for yourself. Rest assured, I’ll keep working to help prevent further ACORN schemes to procure federal money. POPSFEMA Grant to ACORN is Offensive Yes, it is! Our capital city is trying to cut back on police officers and to merge fire-fighters and the EMS to save money (which in itself is ridiculous), but I'd be willing to guess that our local ACORN organization got some of this money. Especially since our RINO Governor took all the Stimulus money and we've seen no apparent changes.

POPSIs Your Newspaper Covering It?–––ACORN Corruption at the Local Level
Some interesting items not being covered in the investigative report are the links between the WFP and ACORN, and even certain names mentioned in the article which clearly show ties with the organization. The WFP has been shown to be nothing more than a front for ACORN and its radical policies. Why? RedState has demonstrated that the WFP was founded by key members of ACORN, and shares many of its political strategies. The WFP lists ACORN as an affiliate program directly on their Web site. Roger Stone calls the New York Working Families Party "one of ACORN's most successful projects". The New York Post analyzes the many shady dealings of the WFP, and its affiliation with ACORN. Yet a simple review of the above material demonstrates that these fraudulent ballot allegations may have been orchestrated by a higher entity - namely, ACORN. Seemingly just as strange, is that a quick look into the history of one of the key components in the story, Karen Scharff, shows a . . .

POPSObama's Acorn a Criminal Organization
And now he says that the enormous and growing ACORN scandal is not something he is “paying a lot of attention to”? And that the ACORN scandal is “not the biggest issue facing the country”? I beg to differ. I think a national organization that is dedicated to stealth revolution, communism, ripping off the American taxpayer, and subverting free markets, among other insidious traitorous objectives, is of enormous import. What exactly is Obama paying attention to? Nationalizing a perfectly good private healthcare system, the best on the world? Outreach to the ummah (the worldwide global Muslim community)? What is he paying attention to? Mounting a Department of Justice witch hunt, a persecution of CIA agents whose crime was keeping us safe from the worldwide jihad in the immediate aftermath of 9/11? What’s he paying attention to? Ethnically cleansing Israel of the Jewish people? Or facilitating a nuclear Iran? Sanctioning Islamic law there and snuffing out the people marching for fre
