Paranoid, suspicion, obsessive surveillance - and a land of liberty destroyed by stealth
The Infowarrior
by The Infowarrior  8-18-2009    1
AKA. life in the UK. It literally brings tears to my eyes to see a once proud nation subdued to such an extent. US and the world take heed! "Voltaire called England 'the land of liberty'. Until New Labour materialised, with its intrusive and 'character improving' agenda, that description rang true. The English preferred freedom and tolerance to ideological and religious fanaticism. The currency of our society was common sense No longer. Common sense has been replaced by officially sanctioned mistrust, mistrust that allows anyone invested with the tiniest bit of authority - often in the form of a high-visibility jacket - to throw their weight around Britain is now a place where terror laws have been used by councils to spy on people breaching smoking bans, making a fraudulent application for a Police routinely stop anyone who photographs a public building, in one instance deleting the pictures taken by a 69-year-old Austrian tourist who admired the architecture of a bus s

Comte De St Germain (Saint Germain)
carrerinyes
by carrerinyes  6-28-2009    2
Their Masonic symbols can be seen on the dollar bill. He spent eighty five years with the Trans-Himalayan Brotherhood which was made up of El Moyra, Kuthumi, Djwhal Khul, and others. He lived for over 350 years, staging his death between lifetimes. As a writer he used the names Christopher Marlowe, Edmund Spenser, Montaigne, Robert Burton, Cervantes, Valentine Andraes, and Comte de Gabalis. It is from his ascended state that he brings the ultimate gift of freedom - The Violet Flame. From The Ascended Masters Ruler of an Ancient Civilization More than fifty thousand years ago, a golden civilization thrived in a fertile country with a semitropical climate where the Sahara Desert now is. It was filled with great peace, happiness and prosperity and ruled with supreme justice and wisdom by this very Saint Germain.

Illuminati Conspiracy Part Two: Sniffing out Jesuits
nuttyriv3r
by nuttyriv3r  5-14-2009    1
"Weishaupt was indeed taught by the Jesuits, though he himself wasn't one of them. Many prominent thinkers - such as Voltaire, Descartes, and Diderot - were trained by Jesuits, but I've yet to see the same inaccuracy applied to them." Don't take my word for it, though. Feel free to consult real historians on the Bavarian Illuminati: René Le Forestier, Les Illuminés de Bavière et la franc-maçonnerie allemande (1914; PhD dissertation); Leopold Engel, Geschichte des Illuminaten-ordens (1906); Peggy Pawlowski, Der Beitrag Johann Adam Weishaupts zur Pädagogik des Illuminatismus (2004; PhD dissertation). Also, in addition to Peggy Pawlowski, see the work of the three living experts on the Illuminati: Dr. Hermann Schüttler, Reinhard Markner, and Dr. Monika Neugebauer-Wölk. None of the foregoing historians repeat the falsehood that Weishaupt was a Jesuit; and neither do Barruel (1798) or Robison (1798), even Vernon Stauffer (1916). There's no need to argue the point further.

Britain's (and America's) Secret Religion--Deism
blueridge
by blueridge  4-12-2009    2
This recent article begins with "the world's most famous atheist" becoming a Deist, i.e. Professor Antony Flew. The reason was this: New scientific discoveries persuaded him, he said, “that intelligence must have been involved” in producing life. In other words, natural reason necessitates belief in a Creator. But the article goes on to describe the difference between Deism, Atheism, and Theism. Any discerning reading (contrary to modern Christian attempts) of America's founders and documents absolute supports that they were not Christians, but Deists, whom, like Thomas Paine, sometimes quoted the Bible, but denied its historical trustworthiness and inspiration, and denied miracles recorded, etc.. It appears Deism is likely to be revived as natural "intelligent design" (which is Deistic, but anti-scriptural philosophy) is made popular and too difficult to deny. Deism is incompatible with Christianity but compatible with Freemasonry, like the Founders.

Dali, Disney, Destino
chara
by chara  2-1-2009
Walt Disney found an unexpected artistic soul mate in Salvador Dali, who he may have met as early as 1937. "We have to keep breaking new trails," Disney said at the time. "Ordinarily good story ideas don't come easily and have to be fought for. Dali is communicative. He bubbles with ideas. "Fifty-seven years later, the brainchild of Dali and Disney was finally born. "Destino" is, according to the curator of the Gala-Salvador Dali Foundation, "the perfect combination of Dali and Disney". An August 2008 Disney press release stated Destino is now due for a 2010 DVD release and "will be available to own for the first time along with an all-new feature-length documentary that examines the surprising partnership between Dali and Disney."

The Greying of Canada
gingembre
by gingembre  11-8-2008    1
Will there be a national strategy to cope with the massive numbers of aging Canadians or creation of a national home-care program for seniors? "The older we get, it seems, the longer we want to live – and, indeed, are living. Like almost every other developed country, Canada is greying, big-time, as the population bulge known as baby boomers closes in on senior status, with the first wave turning 65 in 2011. They will live longer than their forebears; not only has Canadian life expectancy doubled in the past century, to 82 for men and 85 for women, but many more of us will live to be 100." "I tell old people: you have to pay attention to what you like, what gives you pleasure. I love clothes. I love food. I still cut out recipes even though I can't cook any more. I love to read. If you love reading, you've got it for life. I'm grateful to my friends and my children. I know there are grand gardens around the city but I couldn't be happier with my little garden."
