POPSGait may be associated with orgasmic ability
There are several plausible explanations for the results shown by this study. One possibility is that a woman's anatomical features may predispose her to greater or lesser tendency to experience vaginal orgasm. According to Brody, "Blocked pelvic muscles, which might be associated with psychosexual impairments, could both impair vaginal orgasmic response and gait." In addition, vaginally orgasmic women may feel more confident about their sexuality, which might be reflected in their gait. "Such confidence might also be related to the relationship(s) that a woman has had, given the finding that specifically penile-vaginal orgasm is associated with indices of better relationship quality," the authors state. Research has linked vaginal orgasm to better mental health. The study provides some support for assumptions of a link between muscle blocks and sexual function, according to the authors. They conclude that it may lend credibility to the idea of incorporating training in movement, br

POPSTorture not illegal because we don't do it.
USA Attorney General says today he doesn't know if waterboarding is legal or not; This is the nations top lawyer. You'd figure he' have more of an opinion than: "I don't know." The AG also says: "We don't torture." This all the more outrageous because video tapes of USA torture/waterboarding were destroyed so they couldn't be evidence. Plus there are all the images of Abu Garaib prison all over the web. !? It's almost beyond words to describe but fortunately the basics will do: The USA Attorney General is deceptive. He is also not honorable, not true to his word. He is now part of the White House plot to cover up the very exsistence or admission of waterboarding. He's smirky. Gads. Our nation's top lawyer is smirky. I wish I could think of other words or phrases to describe this 'disconnect,' this "lack of coherence," in one's presentation, this clearly displayed dislocation between reality and legal charade shell game. Any other expresseion to describe this?

POPSJustice Or Cruelty? Does this sort of thing make people feel safer, I wonder? This is not justice, it's ridiculous.... and cruel.

POPSCriminal Inquiry of C.I.A. Waterboarding Tapes Destruction set by Justice Department
More: Those officials said the White House lawyers included Alberto R. Gonzales, then the White House counsel and later the attorney general. Mr. Gonzales resigned under pressure on Aug. 27, and Mr. Mukasey succeeded him. Administration critics blamed Mr. Gonzales for carving out positions on detention and interrogation they deemed too permissive. So the actions of Mr. Mukasey, who as a federal judge in New York built a reputation as tough on terrorism, are being closely watched. It remains unclear how various administration officials argued on the matter of the tapes, though one former senior intelligence official familiar with the matter said there had been “vigorous sentiment” among some top White House officials that the tapes should be destroyed. The House Intelligence Committee has ordered Jose A. Rodriguez Jr., the former C.I.A. official who has been described by intelligence officials as having authorized the destruction of the tapes, to appear at a hearing on Jan. 16

POPSThinking the way animals do
Temple Grandin Ph.D. is an assistant professor of animal behaviour at Colorado State Uni. She suffers from a form of autism, and describes the way she thinks as thinking in pictures. This has helped her understand the way Animals think, with direct association, rather than a logical process. A significant statement which can apply to most people, is the fact that originally as far as she was aware everybody thought the same way. Until she asked people and found this was not the case. She describes a radio station person who said she had no pictures, in her mind, but thought in terms of emotions or words. I'm sure I can understand my dogs. They seem to think in a manner that is simple, and straightforward, it can just be a matter of associating cues with behavior, and remembering Pavlov. I think in Pictures and sounds. There is music I can 'hear' in my mind that not only has the same 'quality' as the original, but there is a remarkable capacity to edit. Perhaps something like Auti

POPSPanel threatens to subpoena CIA Oficers The CIA have agreed to provide documents regarding the destruction of the interrogation tapes. They'll be subpoenaed if they don't. Seems a bit pointless. The Administration want a delay because they want to finish their investigation first. If there's any more evidence, they want to make sure they find it before anyone else.

POPSAttorney General Mukasey On CIA Videos
(The Politico) Reps. Silvestre Reyes (D-Texas) and Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.), the chairman and ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, have released the following statement after being informed that the Justice Department has ordered the CIA not to cooperate with the panel's investigation into the destruction of interrogation videos of captured al Qaeda terrorists: “Just two days ago, CIA Director Michael Hayden appeared before our Committee to address the CIA’s destruction of videotapes. In that hearing, he committed to providing materials relevant to our investigation. Earlier today, our staff was notified that the Department of Justice has advised CIA not cooperate with our investigation. “I will ask Attorney General Mukasey -- in public and on the record -- more about the Department’s knowledge of and role in the existence and destruction of these videotapes at the Committee’s next oversight hearing, which I intend to call early next year," said Leahy.

POPSGHOSTS OF CIA TORTURE TAPES
In light of all this CIA illegal destruction of evidence on torture, I am once again clipping the youtube torture video with an update. For seven long years we have all been subjected to live in the Bush twilight zone and now this world of self-contained fantasy and horror is tossing us yet another eerie twist with this headline "CIA destroyed tapes despite court orders". http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071212/ap_on_go_co/cia_videotapes_courts The 1959 Rod Serling, TV series appears similar to THE BUSH ZONE, with one exception. "The Twilight Zone" was suppose to be science fiction, but the show rarely offered scientific explanations. It often had a moral lesson that pertained to everyday life. The only lesson in the Bush Twilight Zone is LIE, CHEAT, MANIPULATE but if you get caught, concoct incompetence for it's better to look naively ineffectual than expose what you really are, an unprincipled, power-hungry totalitarian! Ya wanna bet, they'll get away with this one too!

POPSC.I.A. Destroyed tapes despite court orders It's no surprise that the CIA destroyed any 'evidence' of torture, but they were a bit late, the news was already out. Do they really think no-one else managed to get a copy? They may be able to discredit the detainees stories in the mainstream media, but people are starting to find the grape vine far more reliable.

POPS Moussaoui judge questions government Gee, isn't this strange. Now we have a judge who actually expects the government & the DoJ to tell the truth about so called 'classified' evidence. This must be a real surprise to the Administration.

POPSAl Qaeda Targets Our Schoolchildren I don't know why I read this kind of stuff. As I was walking my grandchildren to school on their first day this year, I looked around and imagined how easily these kinds of things could happen. Perhaps ignorance is better than vigilance. (I wish I really believed that.) This is a seriously scary article.
