POPSWhatever happened to family values? How is this not all hypocritical of the Republicans. I don't get how now it is ok to be teen & pregnant and what about the more pressing issues our country is going through - economy, dependence on foreign oil, global-warming, health care?

POPS“So Sambo beat the bitch!” This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama’s win over Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination. I really don't know how Republicans would want her in office.

POPSPalin is "Racist, Sexist, Vindictive , and Mean"
No wonder the vast sea of white, cheering faces at the Republican Convention went wild for Sarah: They adore the type, it’s in their genetic code. So much for McCain’s pledge of a “high road” campaign; Palin is incapable of being part of one. * Calendar * Economic Equality * Elections * Environment * Local Focus * Social Justice * Survey Results * War & Peace Browse > Home / Elections / Alaskans Speak (In A Frightened Whisper): Palin Is “Racist, Sexist, Vindictive, And Mean” Alaskans Speak (In A Frightened Whisper): Palin Is “Racist, Sexist, Vindictive, And Mean” September 5, 2008 sarah_palin_2.jpgby Charley James – “So Sambo beat the bitch!” This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama’s win over Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination. POPSThanks Barry He understood the implications of Obama's passing over Hillary--not that Clinton voters would vote for McCain-Palin (though if even a few do so, it could make a difference), but that his pick of Palin when compared with Obama's shying away from Hillary would show McCain as a bolder and more confident leader. And he had the sense that Palin's anti-establishment conservatism, pro-family feminism, and tough-minded reformism would add something important to his campaign.

POPSPoll: Half Say Palin Unqualifiedby

Also of interest: The poll found that Obama benefited more from his selection of Biden than McCain did by picking Palin. While 25 percent said they were more likely to vote for McCain because he picked Palin, 19 percent said they were less likely to support his candidacy. A majority, 55 percent, said the choice won't affect their vote. By contrast, 22 percent of voters said Biden's selection for the Democratic ticket made them more likely to vote for Obama, while just 10 percent said they were less likely to support the Illinois senator's presidential candidacy. Again, a majority -- 67 percent -- said the choice won't matter in their vote. More evidence that Palin was a base shoring choice. She's not winning converts, just energizing those already on the right.

POPSPalin: Iraq war 'a task that is from God' And I wonder what "God" she is referring to? Last I knew was that "God" is a peaceful entity - not one that promotes and projects war, especially for Gas and Oil. She must either have the wrong God or is totally confused.
