POPS9/11 Commission's Sr. Counsel Says Official Story Untrue, Gov't Officials Lied Farmer states...“at some level of the government, at some point in time…there was an agreement not to tell the truth about what happened... I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described ….The tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years. This is not spin.” So much for those who quote the 9/11 Commission report and regard government testimonies as entirely true. The article was written by a Marine veteran.

POPS9/11 Commission Members Doubt Official Story Cleland, speaking with Democracy Now, said, “One of these days we will have to get the full story because the 9-11 issue is so important to America. But this White House wants to cover it up”. In 2006 the Washington Post reported that several members of the 9/11 Commission suspected deception on part of the Pentagon. As reported, “Some staff members and commissioners of the Sept. 11 panel concluded that the Pentagon’s initial story of how it reacted to the 2001 terrorist attacks may have been part of a deliberate effort to mislead the commission and the public rather than a reflection of the fog of events on that day, according to sources involved in the debate.” 9/11 Commissioner Bob Kerry also has unanswered questions. As reported by Salon, he believes that there are legitimate reasons to believe an alternative version to the official story.

POPS9-11, Getting Even, Getting Out of Afghanistan
We meant well is about all you can ever say when you took on the mission to "get revenge" for someone - especially when the one you are getting revenge for is dead. Killing others or even the perpetrator does not honor the life of the one who was killed. Preventing similar deaths and nurturing peace seems more appropriate. Getting even. I more than understand the emotion. But starting a blood feud is exactly what bin Ladin and his ilk wanted to do. A blood feud is never efficient, innocents are always killed and new wannabe warriors are grown to help bin Ladin to reach his real goal - to establish his autocratic version of fundamentalistic Islam that would force his view of the universe on others. Staying in Afghanistan as we are, helps him reach his goal. If we focus on getting him out of his lair and into solitary confinement, then we might get a result that's not perfect but loses fewer lives and gives us more honor, as well as time to give honor to those who died on 9-11.

Soon you'll hear it used in sentences like, "So all of the crops are dying and the air is turning poisonous? Bah, who cares about all that stuff that happens in lame old Meatspace."

Indeed, former military analyst and famed Pentagon Papers whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg said that the government has ordered the media not to cover 9/11. An expert on propaganda testified under oath during trial that the CIA employs THOUSANDS of reporters and OWNS its own media organizations. Famed Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein says the CIA has already bought and paid for many successful journalists.
