POPSTeabaggers Meet the Brownbaggers At last a grass-roots movement that doesn't represent corporate interest (unlike the teabag crusade). What took so long?? I would attend a brownbag meeting in two shakes of a lamb's tail if one took place near me. I could never get myself to go to an Astroturf teabag meeting, because their actions would have filled me with such rage, I probably would have told the fools just whose interests they were representing. (I’m sure they would have held their ears and sang GOD BLESS AMERICA to drown me out.) How easy it is to manipulate the human brain. While they hoot and holler and carry signs of bigotry, their anger is misdirected and they don’t even know it. We should all be angry at what is happening at the top. The rich are getting richer and they don’t care if they decimate us, the middle class while doing it. Hey teabaggers join the brownbaggers and together we can work to make America what it once was. FAIR AND JUST!

POPSWTF! That crazy Party of “NO” will do anything to energize their base... Miss Dubya? Anyone who misses that clown is probably angry that we aren't in worse shape. He and Cheney did their best to take us down... Since they didn't quite complete the whole job... They are now trying to take down Barack Obama's administration, ALONG WITH A CRIPPLED AMERICA. WTF!

POPSThe Homeless and Snow For these unfortunates an insufferable blizzard can mean life or death. I happened across this video (never shown in our mainstream corporate media) and was taken aback that I never gave a thought to those who try to survive living on the street. It’s hard enough during clement weather for these people to find the means of survival but in harsh conditions many of them either die are become very ill. Seeing the homeless should make us all chant “There but for the grace of god goes I” because in a greedy capitalistic society we are all vulnerable to such a fate. In a corporate culture people have no value other than the purchase power they possess. If ever you lose that means, you become useless and invisible to those who hold the reigns over your destiny.

POPSNOT EVERY WRONG IS A CRIME???WHAT???? Ralph McGeehee a 25 year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency enlightened us with this following paragraph from his 1983 book “Deadly Deceits,” which edifies a familiar pattern of deception that we have witnessed but we never understood. He stated the following about the CIA: READ at SOURCE.........

POPSGeithner pushes for deficit commission Oh GAG! Just what we need; another 'commission' to milk tax dollars and tell us what we already know. The "soaring budget deficit" is a result of *your* Administration and Congress' policies. The people are not buying anymore of this "bring the people together" stuff. *You* fix it! *You* made a relatively small & manageable mess into a national disaster.

POPSHOUSE OF FOOLS Get Out And Vote The Security Counsel of the United Nations was not elected. Climate Change leaders are not elected, not democratic, not basing their decisions of science. Ponder for a moment. Why do they want your money if they can't save the world. ALL IS VANITY. Climate Change taxes are fraudulent. Don't give them your money unless they can save the world (which they can't). I believe that Kyoto was designed to keep the whole continent of Africa in a state of servitude because it thwarts it's devellopement.

POPSSocNets, Politics, Power & Money The 2008 Presidential election showed us the "new way" that campaigns would be run. The Brown/Coakley Senate race in Massachusetts simply underlines, highlights and emphasizes just how much a game changer social networking in a digital age has become. Again, nothing truly new here: people connecting with other like minded people. What is new, and frighteningly fast, is the medium by which we can now connect. The "trick" now will be integrating and maximizing the different socnets in the most efficient manner for your message.

POPS In Search of Self-Governance
He details the concept of self-governance, how we live it every day through the choices we make at home and in our communities, and how we exhibit it through volunteerism and other things outside the world of politics. There are also differences between men and women, rich and poor, young and old, whites and non-whites, investors and non-investors, liberals and conservatives, government employees and entrepreneurs. The more you divide America into subgroups, the more we seem divided. Despite these differences, I am far more interested in what unites us. And, the good news is that there is lots of common ground that unites the American people today. Like most Americans, I consider myself very fortunate to live in the United States. I’m proud to be an American and proud of our great national heritage"a heritage built upon freedom, liberty, and the belief that the people should rule their rulers. I am grateful for those who have given their lives defending our ....

POPSShariah Finance, Criminal Wrongdoing in the AIG Takeover
First, the Shariah authorities themselves tell us that Shariah is a holistic and indivisible whole and that you cannot carve out “business law Shariah” from any other of its constituent parts, like the law of jihad. And, you can see this in that part of Shariah called civil law or fiqh al-muamalat. According to Shariah, AIG cannot invest its takaful funds in a business that might rent space to a church, because that would violate the principle of not supporting any religion other than Allah’s. Further, AIG may invest its funds in a military armament factory for Muslim armies but not US or infidel armies. In other words, these laws which seemingly have nothing to do with business concerns or ethics but rather everything to do with theo-political concerns apply as forcefully to Shariah-compliant finance as the laws on interest. And, of course the reason for this we know because the Shariah authorities tell us: Shariah makes no distinction between religion, law, politics

POPSGeorge H. W. Bush's Entry into Politics Bush served as Chairman of the Republican Party for Harris County, Texas in 1964, but wanted to be more involved in policy making, so he set his stakes high: he aimed for a US Senate seat from Texas. After winning the Republican primary, Bush faced his opponent, incumbent Democrat Ralph Yarborough. Yarborough attacked Bush as a right-wing extremist, and Bush lost the general election.

POPSVisualing Obama’s 2011 Budget Proposal Great visual from the New York Times showing President Obama's 2011 budget, the chart is fully interactive and very informative. Will we look back and talk about the the 'big-budget freeze' of 2011? His gamble with deepening the deficit to stimulate job growth will have to be macro-managed better then the previous stimulus or these could go very badly, especially in regards to the US influence around the globe. Peace

POPSOnce again, let's give a big ol' "thank you" to George Bush for all he's done, all his "hard work"...
Yesterday the airwaves were abuzz re: the CEO of Goldman Sachs taking $100 million in bonuses and thumbing his nose at Obama in doing so. Other reports this week are confirming the sleight-of-hand and shadiness surrounding the TARP bailout of the banks: Specifically, that TARP money handed out by Paulson was not recorded, let alone accounted for or monitored; and therefore it cannot be traced or even determined whether it went to benefit American corporations, let alone Americans, and not foreign corporations or even private interests or parties. With these recent developments coming to light, along with the tea-baggers and Republicans continued blaming of Obama for everything from being born, daring to take the oath of office with unpresidential skin pigmentation, to daring to reverse the direction of the country from the cliff that Bush had so clearly left us heading for, it seems it's time to revisit those days of yore, those nostalgic last glimmerings of a time when we had a gover

POPSCongress’ New Secret Plan to Pass ObamaCare If that happens, then the game is over and the will of the American people will be ignored again. President Obama declared at the State of the Union, “here’s what I ask Congress, though: Don’t walk away from reform. Not now. Not when we are so close. Let us find a way to come together and finish the job for the American people. Let’s get it done. Let’s get it done.” This is a message from the President to Congressional liberals that he will support their efforts to ram through ObamaCare with all means at their disposal. The President showed his complete disconnect from the feelings of average Americans when he called for Congress to pass his health care proposal that has been rejected by the voters of liberal Massachusetts.

POPSPresident Obama At The Podium In Republican Land
I was mesmerized, when I saw Obama, taking questions (or better put Rep. Talking Points) from the GOP. Anyone who is still on the fence about whether it’s the Reps. or the Dems. that will fix our country and bring it out of the mess it’s in; they should jump off to the Left side, after seeing this. The Reps. have had a strangle hold on our nation for years and what have they done? NOTHING! Wait a minute, that's not quite true... They have all but destroyed it… stepping over the corpses of the people while they go on playing their insane games. What will it take? Total failure I guess, because even while America is suffering these so called conservatives have turned, Corps. into People, Handed healthcare over to the ins. companies, Depleted any chance of paying off the Nat’l Debt and have turned their back on our future. Any voter who is still going to vote republican will be happy to know that the GOP will achieve its goal of destroying the only home most of us have known.

POPSI Forgot Obama Was Black
Prejudice-A Google search, finds racial prejudice as a social disease, rearing its ugly head out in fear, intolerance & hatred, underlying cause, ignorance. (Enlightenment) Long ago humans evolved in different parts of the world, after a giant leap from primitive brain to critical thinking one. Some say animal to human brain. If that were the case, a human/ape probably shouted “HEY, LOOK I AIN’T ANIMAL NO MORE!” Today, some of us won’t accept that we are part of the animal kingdom, BUT WE ARE. (Unless we evolve into veggies, good possibility for some.) Back to my point, since humans evolved on different parts of our Earth, climate was the main factor upon their appearance. Cold climates begat light skin (sun far away, less pigment). Hot climates, you know the rest. It’s a simplification of people’s differences, but since I started thinking this way, I see people’s outer diversity, in terms of places their heritage evolved. Now, I need to find some tolerance TOWARDS THE NONTHINKING?
