POPSJury considered $3.6 Million download award They had awarded $9,250 a song for 24 songs. They could legally award up to $150,000 per song. They decided on the figure by getting the jury to put numbers in a hat-literally. The lowest possible award according to the law for a guilty verdict, was $18,000 for 24 songs. Seems like the record companies are trying to lay the blame on the jury, the charged, but that is the law. It's clear the kind of artists the record companies are. They just worked out how to make piracy legal. The conversion a work from one format to another without explicit permission of the actual creator, for the sake of profit, is tantamount to plagiarism.

POPSCBS Radio Considers "Fag" just comedy "VJ", whose real name is Jeff Vandergrift, and "Elivs", Dan Lay the host of "The Doghouse" think it is comedy to call someone a "Fag" and are even supported in their intolerance and bigotry by their station Program Director, John Mainelli. This type of hate language is not acceptable in anyway. I guess these two went to the Ann Coulter school of broadcasting.

POPSThe SPP, NAFTA & the North American Union. As the North American Union gets closer and closer to a reality, the media seems to be unconcerned...as many Americans do. Personally, I find it quite disturbing that our government officials are taking part in an unsigned (as the US claims) contract with Canada and Mexico.
