POPSVitali Klitschko vs Kevin Johnson
On Saturday, look out for one of the top heavyweight fights of 2009, when WBC champion Vitali Klitschko (38-2, 37 KO’s), takes on the undefeated Kevin Johnson (22-0-1, 9 KO’s). The fight will be Klitschko’s third title defense of 2009, and fourth overall, after coming back from retirement in 2008. Klitschko held the heavyweight title before leaving the sport in 2005 due to injuries. In his last title defense, Klitschko beat the previously undefeated Chris Arreola. Johnson on the other hand, is relatively unknown, but is currently ranked Ring Magazine’s No. 10 challenger in the heavyweight division. He earned this fight by defeating Devin Vargas in May. As for Saturday night in Bern, Switzerland (where this Klitschko vs Johnson is taking place), it will be power against power, like most truly great heavyweight matchups. Klitschko is known for his dominant punching power, which should be no surprise because of those 37 knockouts in 38 wins. 97 percent of Klitschko’s wins have come by

POPSAncient burial site discovered in northern Greece cont: She said they arguably belonged to a Macedonian royal and were buried at the end of the 4th century B.C. But it is too early to speculate on the dead person's identity, pending tests to determine the bones' sex and age, said Saatsoglou-Paliadeli, a professor of classical archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She said one of the silver vessels is "very, very similar" to another found decades ago at a nearby royal tumulus, where one grave has been identified as belonging to Philip II. Alexander was one of the most successful generals of all times. In a series of battles against the Persian Empire, he conquered much of the known world, reaching as far as India. After his death in 323 B.C., at the age of 32, Alexander's empire broke up in a series of wars by his successors that saw the murder of his mother, half brother, wife and both sons.

POPSBob Dylan frogmarched to collect ID
'I'm afraid we all fell about laughing,' said Craig Spencer, a senior officer in Long Branch, New Jersey. 'If it was me, I'd have been demanding his autograph, not his ID. 'The poor woman has taken rather a lot of abuse from us. I offered to bring in some of my Dylan albums. Unfortunately, she doesn't know what vinyl is either.' It was in 1965 that Dylan wrote Like A Rolling Stone, with its line: 'How does it feel to be on your own, a complete unknown?' He found out while staying at the Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch. Before taking part in a concert with Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp, he decided to take a stroll through the town's Latin quarter. 'Residents called to complain there was an old scruffy man acting suspiciously,' said officer Spencer. 'It was an odd request because it was mid-afternoon. But it's an ethnic Latin area and the residents felt he didn't fit in.' Age profiling by the police? Unlike Louis Gates, Bob Dylan is not screaming about police prejudice

POPSMystery face on a 750 year old tile more: It's the best one I have ever found. When I saw the face, my first thought was: 'Who is this mystery figure?'" Plans are already in place to preserve and display the tile locally alongside a second tile found last year in the Shorne Woods Visitor Centre in the country park. "The excavations at the manor are part of a wider programme of archaeology in the country park, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, which has provided a unique opportunity for many local schools and the community to experience archaeology first hand," added KCC Community Archaeologist, Andrew Mayfield.

POPSBe wary of those who tell you online business is a breeze Making money online is a serious business. People lie very often about its potentials. Once in a while, you may make a lucky quick buck here for there, but doing it consistently is no small challenge. Perhaps the reason is the very fickle knowledge of many so-called gurus It is certainly not recommended to go into it blind, or too trusting of all these chest beating mentors. We are not in the superlative or the hyperbole trade, but we think that this one can get you most of the way.Have a look at least.. This business model has answered the questions of many who want to make it honest and clean in a very positive and fruitful way

POPSNeda Soltan's Family 'Forced Out of Home' by Iranian Authorities
Amid scenes of grief in the Soltan household with her father and mother screaming, neighbours not only from their building but from others in the area streamed out to protest at her death. But the police moved in quickly to quell any public displays of grief. They arrived as soon as they found out that a friend of Soltan had come to the family flat. In accordance with Persian tradition, the family had put up a mourning announcement and attached a black banner to the building. But the police took them down, refusing to allow the family to show any signs of mourning. The next day they were ordered to move out. Since then, neighbours have received suspicious calls warning them not to discuss her death with anyone and not to make any protest. A tearful middle-aged woman who was an immediate neighbour said her family had not slept for days because of the oppressive presence of the Basij militia, out in force in the area harassing people since Soltan's death.

POPSMemorial Day - Lets all give a SINCERE THANK YOU to all who have served this country in the pass, present, and the future and who have served this country and fought so courageously to protect our freedom that allows us to live in such a GREAT COUNTRY. Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day because it was a time set aside to honor the nation's Civil War dead by decorating their graves. It was first widely observed on May 30, 1868, to commemorate the sacrifices of Civil War soldiers, by proclamation of General John A. Logan of the Grand Army of the Republic, an organization of former sailors and soldiers. On May 5, 1868, Logan declared in General Order No. 11 that:
