POPSPro-Israel lobby group bankrolling Tories, film claims The programme also describes how David Cameron allegedly accepted a £15,000 donation from Poju Zabludowicz, a Finnish billionaire who chairs Bicom (the Britain Israel Communications and Research Centre). Zabludowizc, the film reveals, has business interests in an illegal West Bank settlement. He also gave £50,000 to Conservative Central Office. Zabludowicz says his contributions "are a matter of public record". William Hague allegedly accepted personal donations from CFI board members totalling tens of thousands of pounds after being appointed shadow foreign secretary. More than £30,000 from CFI supporters went to the campaign funds of members of Cameron's team who were first elected in 2005, the film claims, using publicly available information. The programme-makers say that while this is legal, it is not well-known.

POPSBright sample of the politic as... unusual... When the politicians will start to talk from the bottom of their hearts and not from the bottom of their pockets only then we will start to sense fresh breeze of real changes around. So far speeches like this is rare bright sample of brave people's representative. When you are on political scene you cannot escape from people's judgment and scrutiny...

POPSAll quiet on the Westminster front "The request was rejected in late May on grounds of national security. 'In relation to authorisations for England and Wales, I can confirm that the Home Office holds the information that you requested. I am, however, not obliged to disclose it to you,' writes J Fanshaw of the Direct Communications Unit at the Home Office. 'After careful consideration we have decided that this information is exempt from disclosure by virtue of Section 24(1) and Section 31(1)(a-c) of the Freedom of Information Act.'" Another boot up the backside of democratic freedoms!

POPSScottish Earthquake Stuns Labour In the history of UK politics this a major event. The result brings the reality of the disintegration of the United Kingdom. At the same time it marks a stunning message to the UK quasi Labour government's abysmal record on addressing poverty and the forgotten constituencies of those mired in the excrement of Gordon Brown's economic policies.

POPSA father to be proud of - Neville Jacobs
My father called me this morning with the news that the local Conservative Party at Westgate-on-Sea had asked him to be a teller* at the local elections. I'm certain Dad would have enjoyed his 2 hours of duty in the wind asking the masses of Westgate Ward what their poll number was. "1576" in a gruff voice is the usual answer. Followed by the usual questions. Q. Can I use my own pen to put the "X" on the ballot paper? A. No, there's one available for you. The official inside (normally a council employee) will direct you. No doubt the Conservatives will continue in office at Thanet District Council and under their stewardship, Margate and the surrounding district will spring up from a sad, desolate, run-down failed seaside resort into a vibrant, thriving place full of shops like Prada and DKNY. These, of course, will service the rich and famous who will zoom in from all points of the compass by speedboat or Aston Martin to stay in their luxurious 7- star hotels with sea-vie
