A normal opening season stretches from the middle of May to October, but may sometimes be shorter or longer due to changes in the weather conditions, or unexpected trolls of course. In the summer of 2005 the road was repaired and about 16 million NOK was spent on protection against rockfall, making the road a lot safer to drive on....that is unless you aren't watching closely......for the trolls.....bwahahahahahaha......

POPSThe idiocy of claiming non belief is belief This is a common argument presented by the two trolls willhelm and darkeforce. In their world up is down, down is up, and after smearing poop on their own face they point at other people and call them shitheads. It's a world of redefining terms to suit their needs, cherry picking the foundation of their religion (the bible) to shore up their beliefs, and a pathological need to project their own requirements of blind faith on other people. It's the only way they can level the playing field when they know what irrational nuts they sound like when trying to defend their claims. Their only recourse - an ad hominem false equivalency approach in order to appear equal.

POPSYou Can't Have A Picnic Without Ants. “Don’t feed the troll” Simple and surefire rule. Trolls feed on your reactions. Ignore them. Put comments under moderation. This way you can approve or disapprove of inappropriate comments. Don’t be overly sensitive just because they go against what you stood for. Debate is healthy. Ban them. If you have persistent trolls, you might just want to block them. This way they will not be able to wreck havoc as they please. If you remove a post, aren't you preventing free speech? Discussion boards are by design a forum for open communication, a place where the community is encouraged to freely discuss its opinions. Only remove troll posts when they become disruptive to open communication. A troll is actually silencing the voice of a majority of the community members. Ask the troll to take their comments elsewhere.

POPSI Took The First Step Life is way too short for those who thrive on negativity or trolls here on CM. I've had my fill of those who make snide personal remarks, and I intend to not try to reason with those whose minds are already full of hate and bitterness. They have their followers. What I'm interested in doing is putting out the message to people who aren't so rigid and who are interested in actually learning. That is what I believe CM is all about. :)

There were a few creeps here on this forum, Republican smear campaign trolls, who had not one real issues to discuss but just full of insults, rudeness, false smears, hot-air empty issues, etc. But one of these wannabe thugs even tried to make intimidation (like Republicans often do to voters in poor and minority districts) -- saying he was "making a list," he was going to find out where all these "commie" Obama supporters lived; and they were going to "be sorry." But now, I thought, wow! The Google boss is on Obama's side. He could easily set going some sort of spider or bot seach and actually come up with a real list of these empty-headed, non-issue, smear campaign airheads. Maybe they could be blocked from using Google? That would be could. Maybe there license to use the whole Internet could be revoked. Maybe they could be forced to reread all their posts during the upcoming years of the Obama presidency? Oh well...alas... I guess not. That would be undemocratic.

The Republican trolls who have suddenly appeared here on clipmarks, whining lies about links between Obama and domestic terrorist (Ha!) and Obama and Voter Fraud (Ha!) seem to be wasting their time. The classic political idea appears to hold true: "It's the economy, stupid." Eight years of Republican mismanagement, lies, failure to kill or capture bin Laden, leading the nation into the wrong war for the wrong reasons, the deregulation of the banks that led to this economic meltdown, etc. -- all these events and facts have more traction and truth that hollow and desperate allegations of the trolls here and the whining of the right-wing media. Not only have Republicans shredded our Constitution, violate our Civil Rights, mislead us into another false war with deliberately fabricated lies, failed to avenge 9/11, destroyed our economy -- but now it's shown that they are also sore losers. They started doing this seriously real bad from the year 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, now; and they intend to continue this for years forward.
