McCain to use "Yo Momma" Insults in Debate
monstersmom
by monstersmom  Today 5:24 PM
From 23/6: With an unrepentant economy and Sarah Palin satires dominating the news, several new tracking polls show Barack Obama widening his lead over John McCain anywhere from 14 points at the NYT/CBS Polls to 101 points at MSNBC, taken between the Countdown and Rachel Maddow Shows. Only at Fox News where they show a narrow 3 point margin for McCain in the BillOReilly.com "Phones Are Poppin'" Poll that asked the Folks™ to choose between McCain and a Muslin Comrade of a Terrorist, does McCain hold a lead. "Obviously thing are looking a bit dire," said McCain spokesman, Tucker Bounds, "so you can expect Senator McCain to take off the gloves at tonight's debate. In actuality, someone will probably help him take off those gloves just before the debate, but he will be well-prepared to be aggressive, no matter the issue."

It's Over: Obama 49, McCain 43 in Zogby Tracking
blueridge
by blueridge  Yesterday 7:12 AM    5
Zogby is usually right on the mark. Independent voters make the difference if this extrapolation holds true. Meanwhile, the Constitution Party candidate is calling traditional conservatives and friends of limited, constitutional government (which Bush has trampled) to "not waste a vote on McCain", since he will lose: Ladies and gentlemen, Barack Obama is headed for an electoral landslide victory over John McCain. John McCain can no more beat Barack Obama than Bob Dole could beat Bill Clinton. I ask, therefore, Are not conservatives and Christians who vote for John McCain guilty of the same thing that they accuse people who vote for third party candidates of doing? Are they not voting for someone who cannot win? I like this quote, if only everyone would do this: As John Quincy Adams said, "Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone..."

$10.2 Trillion: National Debt Clock Goes Bust
blueridge
by blueridge  10-10-2008    1
George Bush's legacy and the cost of war. How appropriate for the Debt Clock to run out of numbers. It's so symbolic, like the clock itself staggered at the number. The figure is absolutely outrageous and completely unjustifiable. And republicans used to be the party of limited instead of Big Government. The consequences are now all coming back. But Democrats should not gloat too much, they had plenty of support for the same spending packages and gave Bush whatever he wanted (fools). The ignorant flag-waving American public now realizes they were pushed into war under false pretenses and lies.

A Palin press release issued before the event noted, "Governor Sarah Palin will welcome members of Alaska's diplomatic corps to Fairbanks to view the ice carvings of Ice Alaska's 2007 World Ice Art Championship." Following the afternoon reception, Palin attends the NCAA rifle championships. March 19, 2007 -- Palin meets with 10 foreign exchange students. May 15, 2007 -- Palin holds a "brief courtesy" meeting with Martin Uden, then the head of the British consulate in San Francisco. The calendar notes, "He'll be visiting Juneau today off of one of the Cruise Ships."

GOP Strategists See Big Nov. Losses
Wisco
by Wisco  10-4-2008
"If you turn the clock back two or two and half weeks, you could make a plausible argument that if a couple of things go our way we will lose three to four Senate races," an unnamed strategist told WaPo . "Now we will lose six to eight." Polling in most Senate races over the past 14 days has shown a five-point decline for the Republican candidate, the strategist said. The piece continues: The picture in the House is similar. The generic ballot test -- a traditional measure of broad voter attitudes -- has also moved decisively in Democrats' direction in recent days. The latest NBC-Wall Street Journal and Associated Press polls showed voters favoring a generic Democratic candidate for Congress over a generic Republican by 13 points, while a recent Time magazine poll gave Democrats a 46 percent to 36 percent edge. It's looking more and more like 2006 all over again.

IDENTITY THEFT - the coward's ultimate tool
ianschneider
by ianschneider  9-29-2008
There so many fake Ian Schneider's online that I sign my name differently online. IF THIS WAS IAN ANDREW SCHNEIDER, ESQ. (me) I would have killed myself years ago. I only sign online as /Ian Andrew Schneider/ or /ias/ - until catches up to that, and so on. Anything online that is not related to the meanspeed music conjecture and found on meanspeed.com or meanspeedmusic.com is probably NOT me. This moron is the least of false identities that have been set up. It is ironic that having an unusual American name makes identity theft so much easier, teh reason I always use my middle name and if necessary will use numbers and so on. I have lost easily a year of my life tracking down this . I will not say who it is because . /Ian Andrew Schneider/
