POPSMicrosoft joins OpenAjax Alliance This is good news. There are a lot of cool scripts and toolkits out there that work very well, but just don't mix too well with the MS Ajax stuff. Getting all that stuff to work together would be great.

POPSIs Azureus' Biggest Shortcoming Java? Absolutely! I'd love to run this, but... First I have to install some new version of Java, and deal with that... even their website sucks! And you just *know* when you're running a Java app... the windows look a bit funky, the buttons are different, the textboxes dont work in the same way regarding "tabs" and cursoring, etc... All in all - I avoid it like the plague.

POPS6 AJAX toolkits compared Interesting article comparing six different ajax frameworks, everything from GWt to Atlas to Prototype. Pretty informative. The long and the short of it is that none of them are perfect and all of them are immature.
