POPSRadio shack rebrands Similarly to how businesses are reesatblishing their core values to increase sales revenue, consider your own intrinsic nature and how you learned about making money. Be open to change and turn your mind into a money making magnet

POPSDouble standards So, a naked-but-not-showing-the-naughty-bits photo of "Brüno" = "oh HELL no that's porn how dare you put it where my child can see it", but a naked photo of a woman = perfectly normal, to be expected, and nothing to make a fuss about. And the writing on her skin... *facepalm* Hard to get much more objectifying than that.

POPSThe curious case of 200 nearly identical MSM headlines Data from the Census Bureau debunks the lie continually promoted by the mainstream media of the legendary 47 million uninsured Americans: • 9.5 million people are illegal aliens • 8.3 million uninsured people are those who make between $50,000 and $74,999 per year and choose not to purchase insurance • 8.7 million uninsured people are those who make over $75,000 a year and choose not to purchase insurance This leaves approximately 20 million uninsured; less than 7% of the population. Why do some people choose not to purchase insurance? 60 percent reported being in "excellent health or very good health" and purposefully decided not to buy insurance. Further, 45% of the uninsured will have insurance within the next four months according to the Congressional Budget Office. Many are transitioning between jobs and purchase health insurance through their employers.

POPSFor MSNBC, Cramer/Stewart Interview Never Happened I just got done writing about how Jon Stewart humiliated Jim Cramer on The Daily Show , so it doesn't come as any surprise that CNBC's parent network isn't willing to highlight how indefensible their financial channel's performance has been. Still, a press blackout on a story -- one that's all over the internet, BTW -- that makes CNBC look bad isn't the best example of good journalism out there.

POPSTroopergate Witness Flips - Admits To Getting Pressure From Palins Branchflower’s report is due to be released on October 10th. Let the countdown to truth begin. "Wilkes has a $1.2 million contract with the state to handle workers compensation claims. Her contract with the state was up but her firm was recently given a new contract despite the fact that there were others who provided the state with a lower bid than Wilkes’s firm. One of the other applicants who submitted a lower bid has appealed the decision. Wilkes told Branchflower she believed it was impressed upon her from Palin’s office that she would lose the contract if she did not deny the claim, state officials knowledgeable about her testimony said."

POPSU.N.C.L.E. Cool Life imitates art. The first photo and article tell of a prototype cell phone/pen and the second photo is from the 1960's t.v. show 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.'. Please note the similarities but please ignore the drool running down my chin. I've wanted one of these since I was a boy watching my favorite t.v. show.U

POPSWhere do they find these people? The bigger question may be, can we take them back. Call me a stickler, but maybe assigning jailer responsibilities to sadists may not be a great idea, just a thought.

POPS Fort Dix Tipster Shrugs Off 'Hero' Title His decision prompted a 15-month investigation into six men, four from Yugoslavia, one from Jordan and one from Turkey, who live in Philadelphia's southern New Jersey suburbs. Authorities have lauded the clerk as an "unsung hero," a title he rejects. "I don't feel like a hero," he said. "I feel like I did the right thing." Although the ordeal, which included questioning by the FBI, felt "like something out of a movie," Morgenstern said the "real heroes" were those who conducted the investigation and our "men and women overseas."

POPSChristian Group Preps To Attack Wii At first I was irritated... but then i read the last paragraph: So the solution lies in parents getting the facts and then talking to their children about expectations for online activity. Foster believes that, "Whether it is the home computer or these new gaming consoles, porn is easily accessible. The Wii is an amazing console and tons of fun but parents need good info on how to keep kids safe." I still think it is a bit of an extreme/fear mongering way to get the message of that last paragraph across...
