POPSBank boss says 'we do God's work' Another example of religion being used to justify a position. I think it belittles religion and the religious. The misuse of religion gives an insight into the way they handle taking someone's last cents, before sending them to jail for not being rich. They would also believe that there is a special place in the afterlife for them and it is all good. They don't believe in suffering now to achieve glory in the next life (Mother Theresa and those types can have all of that - and a small donation - will suffice) The bonuses will be awarded to compensate workers for having to listen to people who seemed to have morals, over the last couple of years; and a reward for adjusting to honesty until the smoke cleared.

POPSNapoleon Hill - Three Feet From Gold When to give up? How do you know that there is no solution. Hill said, "anything the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve. This piece discusses Hill's story about a man who lost a fortune because he gave up too soon and the lesson we can derive from it.

POPSYour Babies Are Killing Our Planet!
Monday, October 26, 2009 Moonbattery in the U.K: "The worst thing that you or I can do for the planet is to have children" From the U.K. Guardian: Fewer British babies would mean a fairer planet. The worst thing that you or I can do for the planet is to have children. If they behave as the average person in the rich world does now, they will emit some 11 tonnes of CO every year of their lives. In their turn, they are likely to have more carbon-emitting children who will make an even bigger mess. If Britain is to meet the government's target of an 80% reduction in our emissions by 2050, we need to start reversing our rising rate of population growth immediately. And if that makes sense, why not start cutting population everywhere? Are condoms not the greenest technology of all? Actually, if you ask a true ghoul, it would be abortion, not condoms. In fact, scratch abortion, just cull all humans without discriminating based on anything other than productivity

POPSGiving Thanks where Thanks is Due The parasites that are sucking blood money out of Americans for substandard healthcare definitely thank the naïve, gullible Town Hall Disrupter Sheep and the well-paid Right-Wing Shills for spreading outright lies about Healthcare Reform, making people think that it's something that it isn't. Those people are doing their part to ensure that more people die due to insufficient or substandard healthcare, that more people go bankrupt trying to pay when they do get hurt or sick, and that the income gap between the rich and the poor continues to grow to record levels. If you see someone spreading lies about Healthcare Reform; whether due to ignorance, or malice; correct them. Tell them the truth, and point them toward http://www.whitehouse.gov/realitycheck/?e=10&ref=text and FactCheck.org to debunk those vicious mischaracterizations of something that will help everyone in the US (except the rich)

POPSNet cast over drug growers Google Earth must fit within the budget. That being the case, they don't want to catch the big fish. Just the small timers trying to pay off the house.

POPSRita Rudner Quotes Neurotics build castles in the air, psychotics live in them. My mother cleans them. Rita Rudner Some people think having large breasts makes a woman stupid. Actually, it's quite the opposite: a woman having large breasts makes men stupid. Rita Rudner Some women hold up dresses that are so ugly and they always say the same thing: 'This looks much better on.' On what? On fire? Rita Rudner Someday I want to be rich. Some people get so rich they lose all respect for humanity. That's how rich I want to be. Rita Rudner The time you spend grieving over a man should never exceed the amount of time you actually spent with him. Rita Rudner The word 'aerobics' came about when the gym instructors got together and said: If we're going to charge $10 an hour, we can't call it Jumping up and down. Rita Rudner They usually have two tellers in my local bank, except when it's very busy, when they have one. Rita Rudner To attract men, I wear a perfume called "New Car Interior."

POPS Does Time really Slow Down in a Crisis? Eagleman added this illusion "is related to the phenomenon that time seems to speed up as you grow older. When you're a child, you lay down rich memories for all your experiences; when you're older, you've seen it all before and lay down fewer memories. Therefore, when a child looks back at the end of a summer, it seems to have lasted forever; adults think it zoomed by." And though the results of this study can lead towards disorders linked with timing, such as schizophrenia, Eagleman believes "it's really about understanding the virtual reality machinery that we're trapped in,"Our brain constructs this reality for us that, if we look closely, we can find all these strange illusions in. The fact that we're now seeing this with how we perceive time is new."

POPSYou Owe $455,000 * “People seem to think the government has money,” said former U.S. Comptroller General David Walker. “The government doesn’t have any money“ * The United States Department of the Treasury and the Office of Management and Budget published a report stating that the U.S. cannot grow our way out of the government’s liabilities, that the liabilities are quickly growing, and that failing to take drastic and immediate action would lead to very bad consequences (the report was written in 2006) * The International Monetary Fund - which oversees third-world economies - are so concerned about the solvency of the U.S. economy that they are conducting a complete audit of the whole US financial system If you owed $455,000, you might very well have to file for bankruptcy, unless you had some rich uncle who could bail you out. But if your uncle had bailed you out numerous times in the past and if you had consistently broke your promises to re-pay him - he’d probably cut you off
