"We want to launch these new techniques to give hope to other people all over the world," said Jean-Michel Dubernard, a surgeon at the Edouard Herriot hospital in Lyon and a French deputy, who helped lead the surgical team. Dr Dubernard was speaking at a press conference where the face-transplant patient, Isabelle Dinoire, 38, appeared before the media for the first time since the November 27 operation.

POPSHmmm... Recursive Clipmarks! I just had to do it -- a Clipmark clip of a Clipmark clip! This fellow, "nvizzini" has a blog that's worth reading, and keeping up on. I'm starting to enjoy this Clipmark thing! As a journalist and an enthusiast of both thinking and writing, I welcome this as another fascinating vehicle for widely broadcast, informal self-publication.
