POPSAfghanistan: It's game over, time for America to go. Karzai is corrupt, has no legitimacy with the Afghan people, and he's effectively the mayor of Kabul. There is no legitimate reason for Americans to keep killing and dying & pouring money we don't have into occupying a country that: A) No-one since Alexander the Great on up through the Soviets were able to subdue B) Really, REALLY hates outsiders and will kill Americans just because they're there. It's over whether we like it or not. Time to come home.

POPSUK thugs handed a beatdown by cross-dressing cage fighters That's right, folks. Dean Gardner (19) and Jason Fender (22) of the UK picked a fight on the street, thought the guys in the dresses would be easy prey... and got their asses handed to them by a couple of transvestite CAGE FIGHTERS. All captured on the ubiquitous UK security cameras.

POPSObama's birth certificate: SHUT YOU THE FUCK UP ALREADY! How much more evidence does it take? Political differences are one thing, but this obsession with Obama somehow "not being born an American citizen"... You're full of shit, the evidence says your full of shit, the State of Hawaii says your full of shit, factcheck.org says you're full of shit Dig deep and get WAY the fuck over yourselves. Move forward. You're strong, I have faith that you can.

POPSCop kicks suspect in the head AFTER HE SURRENDERS In most American jurisdictions, kicking someone to the head is on the order of assault with a deadly weapon. Because a shoe-covered foot can crack a human skull easier than most people think. The guy had surrendered and was lying face-down, spread-eagled. And the officer runs up and kicks him in the head. Cenk questions as to whether or not the punishment should be as severe as losing his job. Looked to me like ADW. Lose his job? That cop belongs behind bars. Whatever that guy did before we saw him swerving his car and running from the cops did, and I'm including violent crimes with this... Whatever that guy did, as a cop you just CAN NOT run up on a guy and boot him to the head after he's surrendered like that, not when you've got a gun drawn on him.

POPSMcCain & Palin are turning on each other Palin's "gone rogue". She won't listen to her advisers, is going off script, and blaming the campaign for not letting her be herself. The McCain people in response are saying that she's subverting McCain, trying to set herself up as the next leader of the party. Circular firing squad, anyone?

POPSDid Sarah Palin have an affair? When The National Enquirer reported on John Edwards' affair: -They were right -Conservatives crowed about how the NI had a gang of lawyers who vetted everything they publish. Now TNI is reporting that they have sworn affidavits saying Sarah Palin had an affair with her "First Dude's" business partner.

POPSThe Young Turks: "Did John McCain Lie About His P.O.W Record?" I firmly believe that the generation of politicians that came to power before the age of YouTube and the like are going to find themselves bitten in the ass over and over again. They've gotten used to changing their stories over and over, and up until now no one was paying attention.

POPSGet Your Morning Laugh Here The Young Turks is a show that can really give you a few chuckles. The host Cenk Uygur, is a funny guy. He sure called the shots on McCain describing him as a mumbling, grumbling, bumbling old man. Thanks Cenk, I needed that pick-me-up. Sorry McCain, if the shoe fits... Wear It! ;-) ---- (If the shoe fits, wear it) If something belongs or pertains to you, accept it. This proverb first appeared as “if the cap fits,” which may have referred to a fool’s cap. The later version has become more common and is associated with the glass slipper in the fairy tale, “Cinderella.”
