Sub $300 Desktop Computer
ColoradoRight
by ColoradoRight  7-19-2007    1
A gig of memory, a dvd burner, and 80 gig hard drive for less than 300 dollars. My hot-shot 2 year old laptop has those specs and I know my company was charged something like $1500 for it. Globaization makes things cheaper if we actually let it work.

VA laptop recovered; FBI says data not accessed
rmowery
by rmowery  6-29-2006
I still do not understand why all the data (26.5 million records) was on someones laptop. That has to be the stupidest IT person ever to even consider putting that much data to a portable device. Makes you wonder how secure any of our gov't systems are. Next someone will report a missing laptop with all missle launch codes or something...uggh!
