Lahore, Muslim lawyers will "burn alive" anyone who defends murdered 12 year old Christian
foxyarse
by foxyarse  2-8-2010    2
The alleged murderess, Chaudhry Mohammad Naeem, is a former president of the Lahore High Court Bar Association. The girl, just 12 years old, had worked as a maid in the home of Naeem in the last six months. The Center for Legal Aid Assistance and Settlement (CLAAS) denounces that access to the courtroom where the court hearings were held against the accused was denied, because a group of Muslim lawyers (pictured) 'prevented' entry. The association is fighting - for free - for the rights of the poorest and marginalized groups has been threatened by thousands of lawyers - friends of the murderer - that promise to burn alive anyone who wants to represent the victim in court. Sarah Palin Aims to Bust Up the Republican Party -- And the Tea Party Movement - And the US, too?

Learn from your enemies. As a former 'woodlot' manager near Burlington, I have always been very partial to the Vermont independence movement, a kind of opposing mirror vision of Palinitis. See The Vermont Commons http://www.vtcommons.org/ for a sane view of the right of States to constitutional succession. Now the sheer expense and debt of the American Empire (internal and external) makes the economics of succession much more attractive.

The last of the first decade of 21st century has started. In this decade we have faced many revolutions like wars, diseases, floods and other natural disasters to follow. In this decade we saw the big recession where many lot their jobs. I think the biggest change was the first black president to be elected as Barack Obama. Check out this article to get more about it…

America Rising
merrie
by merrie  2-6-2010    2
Of course, every economist and statistician I have talked to on air says the stats don’t exist and this statement in most part is a fabrication. The Congressional Budget office said there were only 600,000-1.6 million of potentially created jobs. It said it was impossible to determine how many of those jobs could have existed without the stimulus package. Another lie Obama smoothly threw out was about the White House and Congress doing their work openly as the people deserve. What a bunch of bull rot! Obama promised if you remember that the health care negotiations for health care legislation would be aired openly on C-SPAN, so the folks could see what was going on and how it affected them. WRONG. Instead, most has been done behind closed doors. Obama declared in his speech that he and his staff excluded lobbyists from policy-making jobs or seats on federal boards and commissions. However, once again this was a proven lie. http://bit.ly/UJs5y http://teaparty.org

We're reading about underfunded public pensions and health care for public workers. Safety workers receive 3% of their highest salaries multiplied by their years of service to retire at 50. Stay tuned.

LAW ENFORCEMENT VS TERRORISM
mountainpalm
by mountainpalm  2-4-2010
McConnell said that eight years after the September 11 attacks, the nation is continually reminded of the need to remain vigilant. “In September we learned of a plot to bomb the New York City subway,” McConnell said. “Soon after that, there was the tragic massacre at Ft. Hood. Then, on Christmas Day, there was the failed attempt by a foreign-born terrorist to kill nearly 300 innocent civilians in a commercial airliner in the skies over Detroit. “Our elected leaders have no greater duty than that of protecting the American people from harm, The Obama administration’s policy of having the FBI read the Miranda rights to terrorists captured on the battlefield in Afghanistan is “outrageous,” Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) told CNSNews.com. “To me, this is the most outrageous notion I have ever heard,” said Inhofe. “These people are terrorists, they don’t have rights, they don’t belong to a country that is identifiable.”

When Terrorism Hits You Are On Your Own
AndrwDerAlex

As the farcical and almost-tragic facts about the Nigerian-Muslim terror suspect play out, one thing has become crystal clear: Your government can't protect you from a terrorist attack. Worse, when the next one hits - and only delusional elected officials would deny this certainty - you are on your own.
