POPSPepsi taking a year off from Super Bowl, will anyone notice? I love this quote from the "marketing expert" who is a professor at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Managment. He thinks there will be a backlash from consumers if they don't see Pepsi advertising in the Super Bowl. Yea, I can see this igniting protests all around the country right after the game. People are sure to be pretty pissed that a company didn't drop $3 million on a 30 second spot. (I hope you can hear my sarcasm)

POPSBoycott TeleFlora Honestly, this ad was just appalling - misogynist and mean-spirited. If you want to let them know that they offended you, contact TeleFlora here: http://www.teleflora.com/images/vendors/00005557/form_noorder_live.html

POPSSuper Bowl TV Commercials Here are ten commercials in super bowl last year that sticks in the mind of the viewers. The website gave reviews on some of these ads... Interesting and cool website to watch commercials and learn from them.

POPSSuper Bowl product launches The Super Bowl has been regarded as an occasion to introduce innovative products ever since the 1984 Macintosh launch. Surprisingly, despite Super Bowl XLII’s record-breaking ratings this year, only four companies used the opportunity as a stage for major product launches, including the Audi R8, Pepsi Gatorade G2, Hyundai Genesis and the Taco Bell Fiesta Platter.

POPSMy Thoughts on the Super Bowl Ads for 08 With all the hype around the commercials this year, I was expecting a great turnout of commercials. Boy were we disappointed. There was however, one shining moment that just happened to make me take a second look.

POPSHow Super! This year, I am presenting a challenge to the various companies that pay megabucks for their 30 seconds of notoriety which by the next year, month, or even day will be all but forgotten by even those who did not leave the room to fetch another Millers from the fridge. Give the money to a more worthy cause! I don't care which one, take your pick, homelessness, cancer research, aids research, toys for tots, food banks, any of these would be a better cause than trying to gain the 30 second attention span of your average inebriated superbowl viewer. Make a PR blitz of it if you must, release the philanthropic act to all news and press related sources you wish, and you probably will gain more attention, and loyal customers than that 30 second blip on that one day of the year! This is my challenge to you, Pepsi, Coke, McDonalds, Ing, Chevy, Ford, and all of the others, you too, Nike, just do it!

POPSTed Haggard has discovered he's NOT gay. Just as I suspected all along... He's not GAY; he was just researching possible sources of temptation so he could better advise his parishioners. Wow, how Christ-like. Except ... wait ... I don't know ANY straight men that find themselves tempted by gay prostitutes. Wait! I'm confused!
