POPSWARNING! Goodbye Sovereignty... Hello One World Government! - The Copenhagen Treaty December 09 Enjoy your freedom WHILE it lasts! You got a little over a month and counting down. The Treaty on Climate change will effectively end the sovereignty of nations, no liberty, no democracy, no vote. This is it, heads up! Global government by December 09? Will you stand by and let freedom, justice and sovereignty be signed away for profit and control. If you haven't made provisions for you and you family now would be (a little late perhaps) good time to do so, anything could happen, what with the swine flu, the redistribution of the wealth of the rich nations to the poor, the carbon tax etc. Given the current political & economic climate it would be foolish not have some sort of preparedness plan in case TSHTF.

POPSWall Street Bonuses Vs. Normal Wages: A Disturbing Trend (CHART, VIDEO) A Goldman Sachs International adviser defended compensation in the finance industry as his company plans a near-record year for pay, saying the spending will help boost the economy. "We have to tolerate the inequality as a way to achieve greater prosperity and opportunity for all," Brian Griffiths, who was a special adviser to former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, said yesterday at a panel discussion hosted by St. Paul's Cathedral in London. POPSAnother lost Gospel found When Obama became a man he took Mary Michaela as his wife, and she was beautiful, and her wedding gift was a huge ass that could be seen for miles around their town of Bethlago. And Obama went to a temple and began preaching, and many were amazed that he spoke such sooth, saying 'Rabbi, rabbi, can you turn this water into some Paul-masson Chardonn'ay?' But Obama rebuked them, saying 'Let us not, at this point of time, pay heed to what are, in essence, mere beverages, and, we can now say with some certainty, are foodstuffs that, in time, will not necessarily raise our spiritual awareness for, as we now know, we have come to this moment where we can, in fact, make our views heard. Yes we can!' And grown men wept in amazement at such profound thoughts, though a few of the women of Bethlago muttered such things as 'He soundeth like a 10-year old talking through a pig's bladder', and 'Bring back King David Burning-Bush, at least he was funny'.

POPSThe real reason that capitalism is so crash-prone When a person walks, lifting and dropping each foot in turn, he or she produces a slight sideways force. If hundreds of people are walking in a confined space, and some happen to walk in step, they can generate enough lateral momentum to move a footbridge"just a little. Once the footway starts swaying, however subtly, more and more pedestrians adjust their gait to get comfortable, stepping to and fro in synch. As a positive-feedback loop develops between the bridge’s swing and the pedestrians’ stride, the sideways forces can increase dramatically and the bridge can lurch violently. The investigating engineers termed this process “synchronous lateral excitation,” and came up with a mathematical formula to describe it.What does all this have to do with financial markets? Quite a lot

POPS Honor The humble soldier never liked medals, his proud father, Paul Monti, recalled yesterday. The ones he earned when he was alive, he just tucked in a drawer. It was the way he dealt with many of his exemplary actions in life, his dad said - he didn’t feel he needed to show off about the good things he was doing. Jared Monti, a 1994 Bridgewater-Raynham High School graduate, was the son of Paul Monti of Raynham and Janet Monti of Winterville, N.C. Just 30 when he was killed, he “was extremely selfless. “He spent most of his life doing things for other people, even when young,” his father said. On Tuesday afternoon, Monti received a telephone call from President Obama informing him that his beloved son has been named as a recipient of the Medal of Honor. It will be awarded in a ceremony at the White House in the fall. “The president told me that he was very proud of him, that the nation was very proud of him and that I should be proud of him,” Monti said.

POPSAmerica's Most Stressful Cities Last week I clipped World's Most Happiest cities. It was based on perception not reality. Well, this little menu has more meat to it. Reading down the list of stress ridden cities, I think traffic. That is, overcrowded highways, pollution, rush hour and miserable faces stuck in traffic! I can’t help but think traffic when I think stress. The meanness in us comes to the surface during our daily commute, and then stays with us the whole day. Until our nine-to-five ends and we fight traffic again so we can get to our sanctuary and hide. There we stay till another sunrise appears and we do it all over again. :-? Oh, speaking of sunrises, it seems there was a noticeable error on this list… Miami Fl listed sunny days at 32... Holy Moly Batman, that's got to be a mistake. I lived down that way and believe me the yearly blistering, scorching, sizzling sunny days number more like 332 (you ain’t seen nuttin till you’ve seen boiling point stress in traffic  )

POPSFlight nightmare and Continental could care less Their customer service is non existent. Go to their web site and notice how no link what so ever to contact anybody. Just link and link to pages that only offer more menu's. How convenient. This is not isolated event. did google search on continental airlines complaints and some of the stories are outrageous. But i guess until the general public is aware of how they could care less for the customer they keep getting business. And that is all they care about. My solution is if you can't get them online then call their 800 number and voice your opinions of them. Sooner or later the CEO may get complaints from his cronies about all the calls and have to address the issue.
