POPSFood additives linked to hyperactivity Something I know it's a lot of parents can tell you already, but it's something the manufacturers have been able to deny through lack of evidence. It's expensive to change. As the effects of these additives are investigated, there will be more reason find safer substitutes. I'm sure it can't be too hard. The preservative is the additive that is actually useful. There was a placebo, and two drinks with different amounts of colouring. They are the to drinks that both have the preservative. So lose the colours and find a new preservative ? Surely with the amount that is spent on candy it would be worthwhile. How much research funding is required to sell candy to kids ? (Excluding Advertising.)
