Sill Officials Force Mold Whistleblower to Resign
cptenaud
by cptenaud  Yesterday 10:18 PM    3
Roeder's departure Friday, following his contact with USA Today, was purely coincidental, said Col. Sam White, an executive officer at Fort Sill. He said Roeder has a history of confrontations with base officials. "Purely coincidental." Guess the guy just had it coming, huh? "They can say whatever they want to say, but they're not being truthful," Roeder said. "I stand up for soldiers. I'm sure the word got out that I'd encouraged soldiers to speak." Roeder, a retired soldier, said he was told to resign or he would be fired. A long time ago, I would have erred on the side of the Army and its professional leadership. But not after the past half decade or so. Given its recent track record, I think the Army has to answer for this one: Why are we punishing people for trying to improve the lives of soldiers? I also think it's worth repeating what I wrote a few months ago about whistleblowers, the military, and the media:

Twellow
akipta
by akipta  8-14-2008
Twellow.com is currently grabbing publicly available messages from the Twitter.com micro-blogging service. We then analyze and categorize each of the users responsible for those messages into the various categories found at Twellow.com. By adding these people to specific categories we help you narrow your searching into specific niches where you can find who you are looking for. In addition to Twitter, we're actively working on adding more social media services to broaden your capacity to find people who matter.

Mohir

Although there are a few different standards for highlighting links like these, most social networking sites, blog software and hosting services support one or more. They're relying on site builders to highlight such links by using special markup. Google uses this information to build a graph of all sites and their links to one another. Rather than request the API from each site individually (Twitter followers, MySpace friends, etc.), Google provides a single RESTful API to send a simple query in one shot. While there are limits to this data (Facebook info is currently not available in this widget), the information we're getting is real and the friend information we're getting isn't a simple number but a list of live URLs that Google has vetted for us.

Illegal's registered to vote?
Eaglewings
by Eaglewings  7-22-2008    1
This qualifies as a DUH report. I mean did anyone actually believe that people who bust across our borders and sponge off our government social services would actually bother to follow the rules and register to vote? I wonder if Nancy Pelosi along with Obama's ACORN organization are signing these illegals up to vote for Obama? And we thought the Republicans where the only ones who stole elections! Do I hear a collective DUH? This surely explains how we ended up with a candidate like Obama for Pres.

larcd
by larcd  7-10-2008
http://www.MediaMonkee.net Viral video marketing is one of the hottest and fastest growing forms of web promotion today, especially since online video has become a daily fix for millions of people. 59 percent out of 501 adults surveyed online in a month according to (Source: the Kelsey Group) said that they had viewed a video ad on the internet. Among those who said yes, a percentage also added based on seeing the video campaign that they had also checked out a website, requested information about a service or product, went to a store to buy a product, made a purchase, forwarded the video to a friend or family member, signed up for a service or trial and some did nothing at all. Viral Video marketing is the future of online marketing, “said Lauris Renner, senior consultant for L.A.R Consulting & Design. Since video is the most powerful medium for selling and 50 percent of internet traffic today is video, advertisers can use it to connect with audiences in a multitude of ways incl
