POPSSupporters adopt Hussein I think it is silly when those on the Right use the name Hussein to invoke negativity about Obama in the minds of voters. However, I find it downright moronic to build "solidarity" - love that word - around a candidates name. On the one hand, the intent, as outlined in the article, is one of propaganda. What else would you expect form these watermelons? On the other hand, it points out their ignorance in the embracing of "political action" and "cause". Feel-good-ism!

POPSMissing kids found via Facebook Good news in the struggle to find missing children: Facebook. As of February 2008 Facebook had about 734,000 South African members. As the Missing Children SA group founder noted, the chance of finding more kids will grow as the group grows bigger. I don't know how many other countries are using social networking sites like Facebook to look for missing children, but since this is an effective means of finding them I hope that it is widely adopted.

POPSSocial networking gone wild? Is their irrational exuberance in the social networking world these days? A billion dollar price tag for the less technologically savvy site Linked In could hint at such a bubble. Yes it generates revenues already unlike many companies during the dot come heyday. On the flipside, times are ripe for innovative social networking sites built by entrepreneurs, as long as you can attract a following - which is getting harder and harder in the crowded social networking world.

POPSThe Internet and the Election... If we are using so much of the internet for political purposes, I guess it's no wonder that the internet providers are planning to limit the use, especially videos and music. If they succeed in metering the internet and its use, they will absolutely limit your and my input. The Danger is imminent and it stinking to high heaven. Somebody is urinating on us and telling us it's raining. Modern elections and the process is taking it's toll on the conserved ones.

POPSThink Before You Poke Debrett's, the UK's "modern authority on all matters etiquette, taste and achievement," has issued advice on how to behave on social networking sites. Obvious, yes, but also sensible.
