Angstrom Silver, Will not turn you blue!
angstrom-minerals
by angstrom-minerals  9-26-2009
Customers say: “Not long ago you kindly sent me a bottle of Angstrom silver in the UK. I have found it very useful. I have been making my own colloidal silver for many years, but the concentration is 30ppm at the most. Home made colloidal silver (while useful for burns and minor infections) has been inadequate to kill an aspergillus (toxic fungus) infection I have in my sinuses, but the Angstrom silver has been helping a great deal. I have found research that suggests that many fungal infections require such a high concentration to kill them. Please feel free to use this as a testimonial with my name and email address if you like." Paul Holloway.

The Alternative Medicine Cabinet: The neti pot evaluated

Water-Pik makes a nasal irrigation attachment for their machines, but it feels rather like putting a firehose up to one's nose and turning it on. A neti pot is much gentler.

Could smoking pot cut risk of head, neck cancer?
paleblue
by paleblue  8-26-2009
Hmmm now why is this not too surprising? This is probably the reason why the Govt. doesn't want to legalize it -they are probably aware of this probability, but would rather you drink and smoke cigarettes two things they can make money from... You see POT is mother nature and you can get that for FREE!! Needs no special production in a lab - no special mixture of this and that ... Its like Herbs which falls under something their are trying to ban now -- Codex (banning of health supplements), and upcoming banning legislation on Organic Farms.. So this is no surprise and I wouldn't be shocked if it were true!

gemfemfox

I haven't had a full blown cold in 4 years, ever since I swore off the flu shots and religiously started using Zicam and vitamin D. As long as I start with the zinc therapy & mega-dose D within the first day or two of symptoms. But, if I DO get a cold, sorry, I'm going to blow my nose versus letting it flow down my face.

recipe: spicy lime & cilantro soup
Lexica
by Lexica  10-18-2008    1
I'm currently trying (with only partial success) to fight off the Death Cold-Flu-Just-Kill-Me-Now thing that's going around our area. Tired, achy, low energy, not very hungry, and not able to stand up for too terribly long without getting dizzy -- so what to eat? This soup is just the ticket. Quick, easy, and mostly pantry-based (except for the lime juice and cilantro), its tart spiciness is exactly what I need when I'm sick and there's nobody around to go get takeout hot & sour soup. ;-)

Seven Cues for Possible Lies
Kelika
by Kelika  3-13-2008    1
 2. Speech Disturbances – When we lie, we force our brain to pretend: that the lie is true, that the truth is a lie and simultaneously remember, that the real truth is that each is the other. Are you confused? So is your brain when you lie. The process of deception taxes our cognitive capability to think efficiently, so when we are lying, we will pause longer and speak slower than normal and often experience speech disturbances that serve as gap fillers. These include, but are not limited to, ah, er, um, ug, hum, etc. You should train yourself to be alert for deception when you hear this kind of verbal cue. 3. Incongruent behavior – When our words and our body language don’t agree, our communication is said to be incongruent. For example, imagine that you ask a salesman if he can assure your delivery will be on time. If he explains how certain he is about it being on time while also shaking his head (as if non-verbally saying “no”), he is incongruent. When this sort of incongruency o
