POPSNew Anti-Obama 'Joker' Poster Hahhahahaha... I like the wording of " It has a bit of everything to appeal to the drunk tank of California Conservativism". Hahahahah Must have been written by a Drug using libturd with a chip on that shoulder. Or is that an ACORN. I'll say it different. " The Libturds sure can dish out the lies But sure are allergic to the Truth.

POPSMore Red-Baiting of Obama: The "Socialist" Joker Here we have yet another demonstration of lablelling substituting itself for critical thought. Obama gets red-baited once more. It's a pity that Tyler Nixon at Delaware Libertarian isn't an artist because if he were he could do an image of Obama as a fascist, something he labeled the President in a recent post: http://tinyurl.com/nq7bjn Thoughtful criticism must be difficult for these people.

POPSObama poster maker sues AP over photo Further complicating the dispute, Garcia contends that he, not The Associated Press, owns the copyright for the photo, according to his contract with The AP at the time. Garcia said by telephone Monday he was unsure how he would proceed now that the matter had landed in court. But he said that he was very happy when he found out that his photo was the source of the poster image, and that he still was.

POPS Art Encounters Life The graffiti artist who rocketed to fame with an iconic portrait of President Obama was released yesterday after spending a night in jail when he ran afoul of Hub cops unimpressed by his media blitz. Frank Shepard Fairey, 38, of Los Angeles was arrested Friday night for tagging a Massachusetts Turnpike building, police said. “Given his popularity, the suspect, prior to his exhibit, was interviewed by various media outlets in Boston and on a nationwide scale,” a police report states. “In several of these interviews, suspect spoke openly about illegally tagging. Suspect further acknowledged or admitted to recent tagging in Boston.” the Institute of Contemporary Art - has stoked his counter cultural image while making the media rounds, noting he has been arrested more than a dozen times.

POPSObama Official Inauguration Poster
The 'street artist,' who made this (and the HOPE poster for the campaign) is another one of those Obama supporters who contacted the campaign and said he just had to do something to support Obama and he had made this poster. His inititial one word on the poster was: PROGRESS. The campagain asked his to change it to: HOPE. A later version came out, closer to the elections that said: VOTE. And now his work is the official poster for the Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States. Pretty good. I think any phony made propaganda can never be as strong as what comes for real out of people's hearts. This street artist had previously been arrested just over 20 times for an apparently irresistible craving to paint larger-than life sized graffiti pop art on the side of buildings, a few of which had anti-establishment themes (such as: Big Brother is Watching You). Lots of the art world seem to hate what he does ('agitpropr poster art). Now he's in the Nationa

POPS The Message Of Obama's Socialist Realism Art And Senator Obama’s supporters insist that their dear leader has nothing to do with socialist/Marxist leanings, thoughts, beliefs? Next time they tell you that, just point out the Fairey “Hope” button they wear on their lapel, or the one they are sporting as a sticker on their car. The similarities between the Soviet, Cuban, Chinese Communist and Barack Obama propaganda posters are not coincidental. Barack Obama is a collectivist, a far-Left socialist who has attracted and has the support of radical groups, including the Communist Party Illinois, Socialist Party USA, The Center for Constitutional Rights and The Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism. The Obama “Progress” poster was designed by leftwing (surprise!) artist Shepard Fairey. A similar poster by Fairey, with the word “change” on it is sold by Barack Obama’s online campaign store.
