Ka-boom!) say that Americans would rather vote against a woman simply because of her gender rather than against an Afro-American simply because of his race. But what does this poll really signify? That sexism is apparently more acceptable than racism in our society. However, if you look at how people ACTUALLY vote and not at what they tell pollsters, then I am certain that the poll's percentages would have been reversed -- Americans will, when nobody is looking, vote against the Black man because of his race in unacceptable numbers. I think it is time we as Americans grow up already. Mine: What you mean "we", Kimosabe? It always annoys or amuses me (depending on current mood) when someone says "we" this or that...as if the willfully ignorant Sheeple are listening or the relatively enlightened need reminding.
