POPSHomosexual behavior due to genetics and environmental factors “Overall, genetics accounted for around 35 per cent of the differences between men in homosexual behavior and other individual-specific environmental factors (that is, not societal attitudes, family or parenting which are shared by twins) accounted for around 64 per cent. In other words, men become gay or straight because of different developmental pathways, not just one pathway.” For women, genetics explained roughly 18 per cent of the variation in same-sex behavior, non-shared environment roughly 64 per cent and shared factors, or the family environment, explained 16 per cent. The study shows that genetic influences are important but modest, and that non-shared environmental factors, which may include factors operating during fetal development, dominate.

POPSMedical Research Shows Homosexual Activity Is Unhealthy "It is clear that there are serious medical consequences to same-sex behavior. Identification with a GLB community appears to lead to an increase in promiscuity, which in turn leads to a myriad of Sexually Transmitted Diseases and even early death. A compassionate response to requests for social approval and recognition of GLB relationships is not to assure gays and lesbians that homosexual relationships are just like heterosexual ones, but to point out the health risks of gay sex and promiscuity. Approving same-sex relationships is detrimental to employers, employees and society in general." WARNING- This article bluntly discusses health issues involved with different homosexual acts. If you find this to be offensive, I would suggest that you not read the article in its full context.

POPS2008-06-12: Senate voting on an 18-month extension of Title V abstinence-only-until-marriage funding In 1996, Congress signed into law the Personal Responsibility & Work Opportunities Reconciliation Act, or "welfare reform." Attached was the provision, later set out in Section 510(b) of Title V of the Social Security Act, appropriating $250 million dollars over five years for state initiatives promoting sexual abstinence outside of marriage as the only acceptable standard of behavior for young people. POPSSex Ed Teacher Answers Student Questions on Masturbation, Parents Seek Criminal Charges This type of fear based mentality on the side of parents and school administrators is a large part of the reason teens struggle with sexual issues. Parents don't want to talk about it...prosecute teachers who try to answer the students questions...and yet we ask "Oh my! What has happened to our youth? Where have we gone wrong?" These parents need to be sued for utter stupidity. Don't attack a Sex-Ed teacher for trying to answer legitimate questions! If they want to control the minds of their children...HOME SCHOOL them in a church basement somewhere and mind the shackles please, they tend to come loose with time and age.

POPSA Photographic Reaction to the Kinsey Report, 1953
You probably know that "The Kinsey Reports are two books on human sexual behavior, Sexual Behavior in the Human Male (1948) and Sexual Behavior in the Human Female (1953), by Dr. Alfred Kinsey, Wardell Pomeroy and others." "The research astounded the general public and was immediately controversial and sensational. The findings caused shock and outrage, both because they challenged conventional beliefs about sexuality and because they discussed subjects that had previously been taboo." POPS10 Books That Screwed Up The World "From Machiavelli's The Prince to Karl Marx's The Communist Manifesto to Alfred Kinsey's Sexual Behavior in the Human Male, these "influential" books have led to war, genocide, totalitarian oppression, family breakdown, and disastrous social experiments. And yet these authors' bad ideas are still popular and pervasive--in fact, they might influence your own thinking without your realizing it. Here with the antidote is Professor Benjamin Wiker. In his scintillating new book, 10 Books That Screwed Up the World (And 5 Others That Didn't Help), he seizes each of these evil books by its malignant heart and exposes it to the light of day. "

POPSMen aren't all from Mars Taken together, the findings provide a much more nuanced picture of men's sexuality than is promoted by men's magazines, Janssen pointed out. "There's huge variability among men in how easily they're turned on or turned off, how easily they experience sexual desire and arousal," he explained. "The differences among men and the differences among women are much larger than the average difference between the sexes in almost anything sexual."In fact, the researcher added, as many as 30 percent of women may be more easily sexually aroused than most men. "This study's challenging the idea that men are simple," he said.

POPSAny Interest in SEX? Or TITillation? Q.1 How has sex research evolved over the past several decades and how has sexual understanding changed as a result? Q.2 Much of the first few chapters are about the female orgasm and the persistent myth of the vaginal orgasm. Does the myth still persist? Do men still cling to it? Q.3 What about the G-Spot or as you say "that other erogenous zone?" Is there research about that, and what should the lovers of women know about it? Q.4 You state that erections are all about blood and that impotence has moved from the realm of the psychological to the physical. What is your take on the psychological vs. the physical in terms of sexual dysfunction? Q.5 The belt and suspenders approach. Q.6 There's a new study out that suggests that sex takes from 3 to 13 minutes. It treats sex pretty mechanically. Of course 3 to 13 minutes is a lot longer than some monkeys take time to orgasm Many more questions and all the answers at source.

POPS"Mad, Bad and Sad"
If male doctors conspired to define madness, responding to behaviors that flouted the social conventions of their culture, female patients, in the attempt to understand themselves and their context, and maybe even to create or bolster identity, colluded with those same doctors to satisfy the changing definitions of madness. “Often enough,” Appignanesi notes, “extreme expressions of the culture’s malaise, symptoms and disorders mirrored the time’s order.” While “Mad, Bad and Sad” echoes and enlarges upon Elaine Showalter’s book “The Female Malady: Women, Madness, and English Culture, 1830-1980,” Showalter’s perspective is more exclusively feminist, arguing that psychiatry as practiced on women is a history of their subjugation and control by men. But as Appignanesi makes clear, women have had no little role in creating and fulfilling the definitions of their madness.<< "Mad, Bad and Sad: A History of Women and the Mind Doctors from 1800 to the Present" by Lisa Appignanesi.

POPSSpong: Spitzer's Compulsive Behavior and Ours so deep in western civilization which has been fed so constantly by the Christian faith? Of course! Eliot Spitzer is simply the latest example of a rampant sexism that treats women as objects who are less than human. People will quickly forget Governor Spitzer and his high priced prostitute will not even be a footnote in history. I do wish we could some day realize that humanity is fully expressed in both males and females.

POPSSex Education History: Social Engineering As Aaron Russo said about the feminist movement in interview with Alex Jones, where he said the Rockefellers had also helped start that in order to tax TWO working adults instead of one, and take over indoctrination of their children (in absentee via gov't schools), so the sex education program was a plan for social engineering, for population control into slavish obedience to government. The pretense of "emancipation", of both women and children, was designed for different purposes. This article is worth reading, and very sobering. Read just how radical the leaders of sex education were...advocating the farthest forms of deviancy from the common morals of the time, where families were largely intact.

POPSSex Disease Epidemic Among Teen Girls the high price of promiscuity, that no one dares to condemn anymore. It is irrational behavior when sensual gratification becomes the predominant behavior motive of humans. Even animals have their limited "seasons" which is solely for the purpose of reproduction. The fact that "hos" is now become a commonly used term proves that it is based upon behavior that is no longer scorned, but promoted in all media. Is there no relation between these diseases and the harmful behavior associated directly with it? To fight the diseases without addressing the behavior would be irrational and stupid.

POPSInferior People...Dehumanise...Torture "The situation of occupier and occupied, as opposed to that of citizen versus citizen, causes ordinary people to become violent and lose restraint. At Abu Ghraib, the trial found, there was institutionalized contempt at every level. The prison guards understood that "this is the way to behave here." "It is doubtful whether a country that has grown used to 40 years of occupation, and the stories that accompany it, will be shocked. We have become accustomed to treating the Palestinians as inferior people. Generations come and go, and new soldiers abuse the residents of occupied Hebron in almost the same manner." ...Haaretz
