Speaking for myself, I have always believed that Language cannot fully encompass our experience. Some of the pivotal moments in life seem beyond words. My Father died nearly seven years ago and I still cannot put into words what it means to me. I don't believe I ever will. Consequently, the all encompassing semantic/lexical web of language will never encapsulate it.. My experience of 'the One' or 'Allah' or 'God' - choose your own label - is the same. It cannot be articulated. Maybe that is why we need the 'Word of God'
