POPSThe Egg and I The book is based on the author's experiences in trying to operate a small chicken farm with her first husband Robert Heskett from 1927 to 1931 near Chimacum, Washington. On visits with her family in Seattle, she told stories of their tribulations, which greatly amused them. In the 1940s, MacDonald's sisters strongly encouraged her to write a book about these experiences and, following their advice, she wrote The Egg and I as her first book.

POPSThousands Flock to Revival in Search of Miracles Too many people claim to have "spoken to their god" and used the imagined status from this to cause problems for the world. Hardship for the people. It is as if they feel that they are capable of corrupting the image of that god to sate greed. Sad that something with the potential to do good, is so abused by greedy and corrupt people.

POPSRichard Chai a few favorites Richard Chai...Richard Chai... what can I say his clothes lack a bit of originality but they are amazing, designer streetwear has never looked better. I'm not one to care about things that are designer (a shock isn't it) I write about it because I feel designer clothes are very unique and I really like that. I find it though strange that people often congratulate grungy looking clothes that are designer but if a person decides to dress like that without designer labels there just followers of the Seattle Grunge weird social outcasts. Sorry for my preaching but anyway... but anyway above are some great street outfits that look great. Richard Chai check him out :-D

POPSStarbucks Closing Stores Well, I for one am not surprised. Finally people have come to their senses. Don't get me wrong, I too love Starbucks but I've always wondered how they could be so successful by selling expensive coffee and very little else. I consider their brews to be a luxury which I can only occasionally afford to delve into. To me they don't sell a product or service which really competes with the already established businesses in the vicinity and when they open more than one store within a limited region, then they're only really competing with themselves. They're robbing business from Starbucks... not the McDonalds, Wendys or Dunkin Donuts next door. Now, if they can only sell a good cup of coffee at half the price and give free refills, then they've sold me. But hey, haven't I just described places which have been doing that for decades?
