POPSECO Housing.. We, the People have the alternatives So we should get rid of all those, that stand in the way of building a better future. By electing those with the ideas that promote, explore and use the alternatives already at hand and support investments into the alternative energy and home land protection as we need it. We need to protect our home land and preserve a balance in all. Harmony is the goal on all levels of life. Balance and harmony. All else will follow.

POPSMan travels 5,000 miles to check out O.C.'s whales He finally got to see his blue whale. "Roffey has already accomplished a few goals in his life's list of adventures. He'd seen an otter swimming in the wild in Scotland. And he has checked off his wish of seeing a Minki whale, which he saw in the Northern Sea."

POPSMilitary veterans to get free transport? Read these proposals carefully. In England no-one has yet answered the question, what happens when this three year moratorium on free travels ends? As laudable as this scheme appears, is this not just another sop at the gullible Scottish electorate?

POPSAborigine skulls to be taken home Strange, this lack of respect for human remains. Guess it shows the attitudes of the time. Also shows us that we have improved in some ways. (Though tell that to kid who has just found a half rotten sheeps skull!)

POPSParents blame kids’ failing test scores on Wikipedia Another case of misuse of a wonderful resource and giving the resource a bad name! One comment at the site says this: "My university docks marks if you quote or reference Wikipedia. The nice thing about it is that it usually presents the “facts” in a general and easy to read manner, but provides references for more in depth study. Wikipedia should be an aid to study, but not used as a study resource exclusively. That’s what peer reviewed journals and books are for. In my high school days there was a similar problem with Encarta."

POPSEngland vs.Britain vs. UK I'm asking for help here from my friendly clippers. Is England considered a country? Is the United Kingdom considered a country? Is Northern Ireland considered a country or a province? This Wikipedia entry is confusing. The UK includes Northern Ireland, whereas Great Britain (or Britain) does not. Right? Thanks for helping me understand this better.

POPSThicker Skins Needed Maybe if certain Muslims tempered their over the top outrage over perceived insults and reined in their more radical leaders others would view them differently. Just a thought.
