How to Completely Remove Windows Police Pro from Your Computer in 10 Minutes!!!
rexaniel
by rexaniel  11-6-2009
Windows Police Pro looks like a trustworthy security scanner. It is the farthest thing from it. This virus is spreading through the internet at a rapid pace and ripping off the Microsoft Windows name. Windows Police Pro installs itself onto your system through a trojan virus and launches itself at your startup to try and scare you into purchasing a 'full version'. It will give a warning message when you try to run your programs that read "Running of application is impossible. File is infected."

Ritchie gets a restraining order against 2 paparazzi
opu1537
by opu1537  11-3-2009
Two photographers have been temporarily ordered to stay 100 yards away from Nicole Richie, a Los Angeles judge ruled Friday. The order also protects her two children, Harlow, 2, and Sparrow, 6 weeks. In her filing, Richie states that photographers Eduardo Arrivebene and Ivon Miguel daily "stalk" Richie and her family, and that they "sit outside my house, waiting for me to leave." She alleges that they "scream at me in an attempt to get my reaction, scare me, follow me, chase me in vehicle," causing her "severe emotional distress."

Gallery: It's Alive! Nick & Vanessa Scare Us
opu1537
by opu1537  11-3-2009
Back-from-the-dead couple Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo threw a private Halloween bash (put together with party planner Marley Majcher), which was monstrously successful. At least, at least if the guest list is any indication. Joining Mr. & Mrs. Stein (see above) at their bash were Kate Beckinsale, Tommy Lee, Stacy Keibler, Kara DiGuardi and Wilmer Valderrama. At one point Hilton, who was dressed like Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz (as was boyfriend Doug Reinhardt), grabbed the microphone and announced to partygoers, "This is the sickest Halloween party in the world, I love you guys!"

The terrorists at Club Gitmo don't want to leave
clip-on-tie
by clip-on-tie  11-1-2009    3
Obvious. What else more could they want? They have personal chefs, TVs, remote controls, beach volleyball, a library overlooking the ocean, scenic views, free laundry service, new prayer rugs to pray to Allah.....and they're getting the H1N1 vaccine before you. The libs want them out of Cuban Clown College as long as they're nowhere near their Manhattan penthouses or vacation spots in the Vineyard. As if splashing water on their damn faces is going to scare them off.....PUH-LEASE. Gitmo should be rebranded so that liberals wouldn’t reflexively scream “TORTURE!” every time they heard it’s name. How about "Misfired Martyrs Motel" or "Viva la Incarceracion!"?

Box-Office Bloodbath: Paranormal Slays Saw VI
elternathektor
by elternathektor  10-30-2009
Paranormal continued its preternatural rise. Made for $11,000, bought by Paramount Pictures for just $300,000 and marketed for less than $10 million, Oren Peli's subtle scare-athon earned $22 million to become a winner in its fifth week of gradually widening release. It has now earned $62.5 million and could hit $100 million. What's next? The Inevitable. According to today's Los Angeles Times, Paramount is "actively considering producing a sequel."

Just Say Yes
darkeforce
by darkeforce  10-28-2009
A healthy 13-year-old boy died today in Toronto from the H1N1 influenza virus. While H1N1 still causes severe reactions and death in significantly fewer cases than seasonal influenza, it can still kill, like any case of influenza. There's no good reason to refuse the vaccine (just paranoia and hype), and plenty of good reasons to get it. If a family's perfectly healthy, 13-year-old can go from mild symptoms to dead within 48hs, it can happen to anyone. Don't be scared; don't panic, but take reasonable precautions. That includes getting the vaccine as soon as it's available. Don't let the conspiracy theorists scare you away!

Charles Krauthammer :: Fox Wars
merrie
by merrie  10-23-2009    6
only disburses more than $3 trillion every year but is extending its reach ever deeper into private industry -- finance, autos, soon health care and energy. Think twice before you run an ad on Fox. At first, there was little reaction from other media. Then on Thursday, the administration tried to make them complicit in an actual boycott of Fox. The Treasury Department made available Ken Feinberg, the executive pay czar, for interviews with the White House "pool" news organizations -- except Fox. The other networks admirably refused, saying they would not interview Feinberg unless Fox was permitted to as well. The administration backed down. This was an important defeat because there's a principle at stake here. While government can and should debate and criticize opposition voices, the current White House goes beyond that. It wants to delegitimize any significant dissent. The objective is no secret.

Our Constitution is on Life Support
dl211
by dl211  10-16-2009    6
Intentionally lost in all this noise is the Leftist tactic of drowning its opposition in waves of excessive and ever-changing health care minutia. With the devil being so well hidden in the details, this ensures that we remain distracted while Rule of Law is further usurped by the rule of man. Sadly, not one Democrat bill addresses "health care" so much as it seeks omnipotent centralized government power and control, the currency of the Left. However, the proposals certainly betray the Left's condescension and contempt for Rule of Law, along with their frontal assault upon our Essential Liberty.

Obama's Senior Moment
merrie
by merrie  10-15-2009    1
voluntary private contracts and rationing via government. An Atlantic Ocean, in fact. Virtually every European government with "universal" health care restricts access in one way or another to control costs, and it isn't pretty. The British system is most restrictive, using a black-box actuarial formula known as "quality-adjusted life years," or QALYs, that determines who can receive what care . If a treatment isn't deemed to be cost-effective for specific populations, particularly the elderly, the National Health Service simply doesn't pay for it. Even France"which has a mix of public and private medicine "has fixed reimbursement rates since the 1970s and strictly controls the use of specialists and the introduction of new medical technologies such as CT scans and MRIs. Yes, the U.S. "rations" by ability to pay (though in the end no one is denied actual care). This is true of every good or service in a free economy and a world of finite resources . . .

Halfdan Rasmussen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark January 29, 1915. He was a resistance fighter during the German occupation of Denmark in W.W.II and became a well known poet often writing about social issues and human rights. Halfdan Rasmussen was also loved for his nonsense verses written for children. Halfdan Rasmussen almost became a national-poet of Denmark. He died in 87 years old on 2nd March 2002. In 1979 Amnesty International (Denmark) published a small book with poems about Human Rights (ISBN: 87-980852-2-0). Among the best were a small poem from Halfdan Rasmussen titled "Ikke Bødlen". The English Translation of Ikke Bødlen: Not the torturer will scare me Nor the hate and the torture Nor the barrels of death's rifles nor the shadows on the wall Nor the nights When the last star of pain is falling to the ground But the blind indifference of the merciless world

Vaccine revolt! Swine flu vaccine support crumbles as flimsy rationale for H1N1 shots becomes appare
The Infowarrior
by The Infowarrior  10-12-2009    3
Popular support for the vaccine is crumbling by the day, and health authorities are now turning to exaggerated scare stories to try to drum up demand for their vaccines. Where scientific credibility is lacking, fear is being invoked in its place. Why the swine flu vaccine doesn't add up So why is the justification for the swine flu so flimsy? It all comes down to these five crucial reasons being pushed by the vaccine industry... but as you'll see below, each of these five reasons is demonstrably false! Reason #1) The H1N1 swine flu pandemic is dangerous and deadly! Why it's flimsy: While the infection rate of H1N1 is currently high, the fatality rate is remarkably low. In fact, it's no higher than a normal, seasonal flu.
