POPSPalin & the Dysfunctional Political Class The current GOP seems to look for mediocrity...someone who will *fit*...a person who appears *electable*, a vanilla-type. It seems to stand for everything and yet nothing. Whether Mrs. Palin would make a good Presidential candidate, I don't know. But I'm weary to death of the clandestine people who mouth conservative rhetoric and then fold when the game is on. Give me a candidate who gives me a clear choice; not one who bows to the current political breeze blowing through Washington. I've just about lost all "Hope" because I don't see any on the horizon.

POPSAbraham Lincoln Purged By Republlcan Party....Not Born in USA
Steele was asked by a reporter from the AP what the future plans were for the GOP. Steele replied..."It is no longer the GOP...in fact, secret documents show that GOP was the code name for the foreign infiltrators and stood for Good Old Poland....we are now the WASP. And we are taking action.....and asking everyone to bring their five dollar bills with Liebovitz's picture on them to Washington, DC. He is not going to have us to kick around any longer. These millions in five dollar bills will be used to tear down Liebovitz's statue on the Mall and replace it with a statue of Sarah Palin field dressing a moose. We are taking his country back....we will not be fooled...never again" When a reporter said to Steele..."But, Mr. Chairman...you are an African American.....Steele replied....."well.....I was an African American...before.......I wasn't an African American" As Steele took his notes and left the stage an open mike picked up the Chairman humming to himself...."l'm Dreaming Of A

POPSSarah Palin's high-risk, high-reward strategy Washington (CNN) -- When Sarah Palin weighed in last week on the contentious special congressional election in New York, she did so in her trademark way: unconventionally. While other potential 2012 presidential contenders largely stayed quiet on the divisive congressional race that has exposed fault lines in the party, Palin delivered a slap in the face to Republican Party leadership in Washington when she offered a full-throated endorsement of third-party conservative Doug Hoffman over the GOP's anointed candidate, Dede Scozzafava. The CNN poll also shows Palin has lost support among independent voters over the last year, drawing approval from 41 percent of them now, 10 points lower than that group's approval last year. She fares even worse with self-identified moderate voters, drawing only a 34 percent approval rating.

POPSSorry Ass News For A Sunday Morning Did you ever pick up a newspaper and wished you hadn't? Well that's what happened to me this morning. It wasn't an actual real time Newspaper but in today's world it was a Newsdig but I still wished that I hadn't clicked! First it was a, Health Care {NO} Reform won by the Health Care and insurance Industry. Then the gloom and doom news from Afghanistan. It's enough to make you put on a pair of rose colored glasses or stick your head in the sand. But alas, I can't do that, because then I would become part of the (Sarah Palin - Michele Bachmann et al ) crazy lunatic fringe mob on the right!

POPSIt's Alive! End-of-life counseling in health bill I don't get it. Haven't patients had the "option of speaking with their doctor about how they want to be treated......"? What a crock! and isn't this bill already messin' with Medicare and it's payments to doctors and hospitals? This bill is one big screw up!

POPSBetsy McCaughey on death panels Here's the woman who started the notion of death panels, doing interviews with Dylan Ratigan and Jon Stewart. Don't miss the Stewart interview, especially. Unfortunately I couldn't seem to clip the video, so you'll have to click through to the Health Spectator site to see them.

POPSGaffney Tells Reagan "Your Father Would Be Ashamed Of You" (VIDEO) In June, Gaffney wrote a column insisting that President Obama might really be a Muslim. In March, Gaffney argued that "evidence" exists connecting Saddam Hussein to 9/11, the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center, and the Oklahoma City bombing. Last September, Gaffney argued that Sarah Palin has learned foreign policy through "osmosis," by living in Alaska. He's argued that U.S. forces really did find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, but the media covered it up. He's used made-up quotes and recommended "hanging" Democratic officials critical of the Bush administration's Iraq policy. He even believes there's "evidence" to support the "Birthers," and once recommended a military strike on Al Jazeera headquarters. ------ In other words a man with no shame invokes the specter of another man dead father to attack him. Classy!

POPSHey Dave...I Missed the Joke... Sick. We saw it again recently AGAIN with the passing of Sen. Kennedy. His litany of indiscretions towards women was excused and accepted. Gross. Do libs think no one notices this hypocrisy? Hells bells, talk about idiocy and stupidity of epic proportion. They make this shit up about Limbaugh. They make it up! Yet their own damn party is out there in the open doing it in front of our very eyes. Sick. Gross. No, Dave, you don't get to decide when this story end. Count on it to last a long time. I don't forgive or forget that easy. You can count on that.

POPSAndrew Sullivan: "Much Worse Than I Expected" So Andy has finally decided that Barry is a liar. Well, duh. What exactly in part of his campaign made him think he was a stand-up kinda guy? His tie to terrorists? His racist and hateful minister? Too bad for Andy he doesn't have Sarah Palin to trash for kicks to take his mind off of Obama's lying butt. Gross, I can't believe I actually agree with Andy the Clown.
