THE END OF TIME WINDOW - MAYAN PROPHECY
mountainpalm
by mountainpalm  10-26-2009
TECHNOLOGY IS NOT THE SIGN OF AN ADVANCED CIVILIZATION...ITS THE SIGN OF A CIVILIZATION ABOUT TO ADVANCE. MAYA HAVE BEEN THROUGH MANY POLE SHIFTS AND ARE PREPARING FOR THE NEXT ONE WHICH THEY SAY (AND CERTAIN SCIENTISTS AGREE) COULD HAPPEN ANY MINUTE...LOOK FOR THE MISSING OF OUR MAGNETOSPHERE. (WATCH PBS NOVA 2003 "MAGNETIC STORM" ON GOOGLE VIDEO FOR *SCIENTIFIC* CONFIRMATION) PLEASE LISTEN TO THE LINK. IT WILL EXPLAIN THE DISCREPENCIES BETWEEN 2012 RUMOUR AND 2012 MAYA TRUTH. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN OVER 500 YEARS THAT THE MAYAN COUNCIL HAS SPOKE ON THE "END OF TIME" (BEGINNING OF A NEW CIVILIZATION)

..and One Rumour Obama Cannot Dispel
JackieDel
by JackieDel  10-8-2009    1
"Fact: Obama is eighth cousin to Cheney, according to research by the vice-president's wife Lynne. The two men share a common ancestor in a 17th-century French immigrant." Crikey, I think I would shoot myself if I shared common ancestry with war monger Cheney.

Have You Heard "The Hum"?
thisnamecantbetaken
by thisnamecantbetaken  8-20-2009    13
Various features of modern life have been blamed - gas pipes, power lines, mobile phone masts, wind farms, nuclear waste, even low-frequency submarine communications. The internet is abuzz with rumour and speculation. There are dark mutterings about secret military activity, alien contact and government cover-ups. The hum even featured in an episode of the sci-fi drama "The X-Files". Such conspiracy theories are understandable, but unhelpful, according to Dr David Baguley, who's head of audiology at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. He estimates that in about a third of cases there is some environmental source that can be tracked down and dealt with. "It may be a fridge or an industrial fan or a piece of heavy machinery at a nearby factory that is causing the disturbance and can be switched off," he says. Most of the time, however, there is no external noise that can be recorded or identified. You can hear an amplified recording of the hum, at the source.

10 Rules That Govern Groups
Aribeth
by Aribeth  7-12-2009
 6. Leaders gain trust by conforming A high-profile, high-status role in any group is that of its leader, but where do leaders come from? In some groups, they are appointed or imposed from outside, but in many groups leaders emerge slowly and subtly from the ranks. 7. Groups can improve performance... 8. ...but people will loaf 9. The grapevine is 80% accurate Intelligence, rumour, gossip and tittle-tattle is the lifeblood of many groups. 10. Groups breed competition While co-operation within group members is generally not so much of a problem, co-operation between groups can be hellish. People may be individually co-operative, but once put in a 'them-and-us' situation, rapidly become remarkably adversarial.

Russian Probe Tried to Beat Apollo to the Moon—But It Crashed
cakebelly
by cakebelly  7-10-2009    2
more (at source): The recordings were made over three days at the Jodrell Bank Observatory in Manchester, where researchers used the Lovell Radio Telescope to listen to transmissions from Apollo 11—and Luna 15. Sir Bernard Lovell, the inventor of the telescope and the founder of Jodrell Bank, can be heard narrating events with conversation from the Apollo 11 astronauts in the background. Sir Bernard notes a change in the orbit of Luna 15 to take it closer to the US landing site and later reports a rumour from a “well-informed source in Moscow” that the craft is about to land. People in Jodrell’s control room can then be heard shouting “it’s landing” and “it’s going down much too fast” as they track Luna 15’s final moments before it crashes .

The Riddle Of The Riddler
merrie
by merrie  12-18-2008
Comedian Eddie Murphy is reportedly playing the role of the Riddler in Christopher Nolan's next Batman film, according to British tabloid the Sun. Johnny Depp was reportedly linked to the role played by Jim Carrey in the 1995 film Batman Forever. Other names attached to the project include Transformers star Shia Lebouf as Robin and Rachel Weisz as Catwoman. Michael Caine and Christian Bale will reportedly reprise the role. The Dark Knight, the Batman film released this summer, has been the most successful film in the franchise, generating more than $500-million in the U.S. alone. It has also gained critical praise particularly for the portrayal of the Joker by late actor Heath Ledger. UPDATE (Thursday, Dec. 18 at 8:20 a.m.) Some people think the rumour is bogus. They are probably right. http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/theampersand/archive/2008/12/18/221144.aspx

Alaska Ethics probe says Pain abused her power
darkeforce
by darkeforce  10-11-2008    1
McCain and Palin are trying to bullshit people, saying that this is a partisan attack, but the public record shows their lie. The probe was started before there was even a hint of a rumour that McCain was going to tap Palin as his VP pick. The committee was bipartisan . That means there was no partisan agenda involved in it. McCain/Palin; they keep lying, and lying, and lying, and lying, and lying... <drum beat in the background>
