I know I know... it is my flavour of these moments. The poet Rumi has been a favourite of mine for ages. During my perusing of sufi dancing I stumbled upon this gem.
A lengthy but quite beautiful article on Islamic mysticism "sufism", RUMI, philosophy and art. All the more sad to read this and know that Iran has recently launched a crackdown on the Sufi's gathering places :(
