lifecyce1898

It seems her #1 job is to continue the illusion that the ultimate elitist party, the party of CEO and wall street fat cats is really the party of average America disparagingly cast as Joe and Jane six pack, too ignorant and uneducated to notice the phoniness. Ignore the 100000000 bank account, 10 homes and 13 cars, McCain represents the working American. What a crock of sh**!!

Did Obama"Out-Warn"on the Mortgage Crisis?
davboz
by davboz   10-2-2008    1
No! March'07,his warnings only came when the end-user was at risk.He was at the roots of promoting, demanding, and inspiring the drive to swell home"ownership" numbers and promote unnatural preferences for non-creditworthy borrowers - by ANY methods or means. Head of the line taking Fannie $, and being fully aware that the policies being implemented could NOT POSSIBLY be resulting in the "desired" numbers if they were ethical and business-wise, Obama was SILENT. He only spoke up when it was unavoidable that HIS policies would be coming to a REAL BAD END. And since he had no other choice but to speak up, being a candidate.

Bye-bye Tax Exemption
AtlLiberal
by AtlLiberal  9-29-2008    4
The last part of the clip is telling. Replace the words "secularist" and "atheists" with Jews and Blacks. How does that sound to you now? Fear and prejudice is one way to get people to change their minds. As far as flaunting the IRS rules regarding non-endorsement of political figures from the pulpit, I say go right ahead but be prepared to lose your tax exempt status.

US Textbooks Misrepresent Jews, Israel
thisnamecantbetaken
by thisnamecantbetaken  9-28-2008    2
A glossary entry on the Ten Commandments describes them as "Moral laws Moses claimed to have received from the Hebrew God Yahweh on Mount Sinai." The same glossary describes the Koran as a "Holy Book of Islam containing revelations received by Muhammad from God." "All in all, there are repeated misrepresentations that cross the line into bigotry," the authors write. Wow. Talk about getting your knickers in a knot. Outrageous misrepresentations? I daren't say a word.

What A Deer Does And Doesn't See
debbyski
by debbyski  9-23-2008    1
"Some soldiers hung on to the old-fashioned designs because of what Dr. O’Neill called the C.D.I. factor: Chicks Dig It. If male hunters feel that way about their old overalls, there may still be lots of shrubs and trees toting guns and bows during hunting season. These guys may or may not be right about women going for this look. But the deer probably appreciate it. " I can't wait to email this clip to {{cabanaben}} and see what he thinks about it :)

'The Great Pyramids of Russia"
cakebelly
by cakebelly  9-17-2008
Other research has found possibilities for improved immune system functioning, reduction of radioactivity, increasing oil viscosity to improve output and higher crop yields. Crystalline structures placed in the pyramids have been taken to the MIR space station and used in jails for further research. Russian scientific institutions are researching the pyramid's effects as they explore ancient roots of what could be modern healing practices.

The Governor Palin 'scoop du jour'
merrie
by merrie  9-17-2008    8
leads to other questions about elitism, ethics, public health and the insufferable phoniness that plagues politics and politicians. Can you believe the latest scandal over Sarah Palin? She installed a tanning bed in the governor's mansion and -- what's worse -- she paid for the contraption with her own money! The latest scandal over Sarah Palin was first reported by a couple of left-wing nuts at Narco News, an online publicaton that in the past I've seen putting out pro-Hugo Chavez propaganda. Here's the spin on the tanning bed scandal from Narco News: "A politician emerges, we are told, from humble roots and pledges to restore America’s small town family values and represent the common man and woman." And yet all along, the story continues, she's using a tanning bed! It's all on par, according to NarcoNews, with John Edward's $400 haircut!
